Haynes W203 Manual
For those who don't frequent benzworld
http://classicgarage.com/mebecharema.html
I ordered mine already.
An actual repair manual you can hold in your hands, or
read while you're in the head.![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
You don't need to work for MB, or auction your left nut.
About 25 with postage.

Thank you! I emailed Haynes a while ago, and they stated that this would never go into production...I love mine for the w123, it really was great for the w201 and the w126 too! Easy, good books to follow with the info a DIYer needs! And wire diagrams and torque specififcations! I hope the w203 book lives up!
Thanks,
Jake

Thanks. I just placed my order. I tried to order a C-Class repair manual directly from www.haynes.com but I keep getting an error message. My order at classicgarrage went through in a few seconds.

Mine arrived yesterday.
FYI- When you order, the default shipping method is UPS ground.
But you can select Priority mail, and it's less expensive.
As it shipped from NJ, I would been waiting another week, and paid a couple
bucks more for the privilege.

Yeh, I recall seeing that, 4&5 cyl. models? wtf I have no idea.
There's no 5 cylinder engines covered here.
EDIT: read through it last night.
There's tons of good info, explains how to do most maint. functions, but
some of it just isn't completely accurate.
They've got oil changes listed every 3K miles which can't hurt I suppose, but it's a waste of expensive synth oil.
and want you to check the oil and tranny fluid every 250 miles
which can't hurt anything.
It doesn't specify MB approved oils, or even mention the MB standards, just says any
API grade certified for gas engines ok.
Just looking now, it say the cooling system holds "up to" 15.3 quarts in a 4 cyl. model...he he...not.
It's a great reference and makes an excellent addition to the
other data I've collected, but it doesn't replace any of it, including the DVD.
But it's well worth the 25 bucks fo sho.
It covers basic stuff the DVD doesn't like just replacing brakes, doing oil changes,
recharging the AC system, and even changing the tranny fluid, although they just show the
drain, drop and fill method and don't mention the TC.
It shows how to replace the voltage regulator in an alternator, and amazingly it's the Valeo one
I have.
What little info is related to the M111 is almost all incorrect.
It mentions removing the air "filters" to get to the oil filter...huh?

That blows... by the time I added UPS Ground to Hawaii (which doesn't exist, something about salt water) the cost was a hair from $60.
You can get it from FCP Euro (no affiliation) for $36 including shipping to Hawaii... you mainland folks will get it for less than that; free shipping for orders over $50 (which again blows, since they're allergic to salt water and won't free-ship here). It's the paradise tax at work again, d*mmit.
