Ordered my Rims!!! Need Tire Info
I ordered a set of Rims from Eurotech, the ones I tried to organize a group buy for. I went for the 18" Silver Polished. Inlcuding the rims, shipping to Canada, bolts, Mercedes caps and what other crap you need for the rims the price came to $600. Ryan(from Eurotech) and I were both disapointed that I couldn't get a group together for the buy, oh well. Anyway heres a pic that Buellwinkle Photochopped for the rims. I will take some real pics as soon as they come. Anyone have suggestions on which Tires I should go for. I was thinking maybe ZR rated Pirelli's, no idea though.

Great rims.
I dunno what your budget will allow, but check into the New Yokohama ES100 if money is an object (say $520 US a set), and consider the Michelin Pilot if cost is not a concern ($960 US a set).
Those are the best of the two extreme price brackets IMHO.

Check out tirerack's reviews and customer reviews of the tires. When I looked around the Sumitomo HTR+ seem like an inexpensive tire that many liked. For me I look at tire noise as the number one issue followed by wet traction and wear but everyone has different priorities.

If money is not a big issue, the Pilot Sport A/S tires are the best tires I've ever owned. Very good grip and good ride considering I am only running 40-series tires. Bad news is they are $231 each.

I wouldnt buy Pirellis. They are heavy, noisy and wear out very fast.
If you live in Toronto, is it better to get a set of all season tires? Or do you have a set of snow wheels and this coming set is going to be your summer wheels? For all season, I strongly recommend Bridestone RE950. For summer tires, T1-S. No question about it.

I bought a set of used Brabus rims with Pirelli P7's on it and it was in bad shape. The person who owned it stated that it lasted only 9 months before showing major thread, not to mention that it was really noisy.
Well, since then, I've put on Nitto 555's (225/18"/40 series) and it looks awesome. Now, I only wish that I had 19" rims!!!
