still not bad pulleys and tune for 699, pretty reasonable as long as the numbers are good. just waitin on those dynos.... no rush though as long as everything comes out good in the end.

well he ordered my stock s/c pulley from mercedes by using my vin, and now i dont know what is going on, he said that it will be worth the wait tho.

I'm definitely interested in this as well. If Jerry's down in DC I'd make a trip down for him to looks at it.

Quick question, though. I thought the past pulley's caused overheating (wasn't that Renntech's issue?)

I'm going to put my Renntech pulley up for sale again, $500 obo. Full kit (crank pulley, water pump pulley, belt.

I'll post pics and a thread in the classifieds soon.

how does reducing the power to the water pump affect performance etc?

Its a smaller water pump pulley, so its actually increasing its speed.

I'm not referencing the same setup as this thread, yet the oversized crank pulleys increase boost, yet require a smaller water pump pulley to fit, which spins the water pump faster.

UPDATE

I talked to Jerry today and he has the new prototype in stock, but is having scheduling problems having the local c230 m271 driver to come in and let them test on his car.

It seems that this is their only delay.

Is there anyone who can get a hold of this guy? or is there anyone else in the chicago area that would do this?

I want to make sure this moves forward

how do these pulleys affect overall performance of the entire engine? i dont mean increasing boost pressure by decreasing pulley size and increasing pulley size...like to the individual components what will it do to the water pump or crank shaft or alternator etc. What are we sacrificing by increasing boost?

yes that is correct, thats the only delay. i cant wait till i get the pulley, as soon as its test fitted, jerry will be mailing mine to california.
