See I like the sport rims, but I like the AMG style rims too - even though they are slightly different than the originals. I could get the originals...but I'm not sure I want to spend the extra $200-300 yet.

Chris,
I had a similar situation when I wanted to get a set of winter wheels for my car. Should I just go with another OEM set (like my 2005 funnel style which I had on my car) or another style? I went with the AMG style similar to the ones you're looking at. So now, I have the OEM funnels for my winter set, and the AMG style for the summer.
However, something to note: the AMG ones you're looking at are slightly different than the AMG ones that came on the C class AMG C55. The ones you are looking at look more like the AMG wheels from an E55 versus ones that came on the C55. Here's the difference: The spokes on the E55 wheels don't really bend inward that much when they reach the outer part of the wheel. They're more or less flush with the outer rim bead. Whereas the C55 AMG wheels actually bend inward at the spokes' last inch and a half or so. Not really a big deal, but just something to note.
Other things: even though these AMG replicas look like they have the AMG logo, because they're replicas, they can not legally have the AMG name on it. So instead, it's probably "AMC" or "AME" on them. Also note that these wheels are not staggered, like the OEM AMG wheels that come on the C55. Lastly, OEM AMG's are 18" on the C55, and these are 17". Again, no big deal on any of these, as I would still pick the AMG style over the 2007 style. And that's what I did with the wheels I bought, which are 17" ones.
Something you might want to consider is searching eBay for a seller called Eurotech. Actually, here's the link to their store:

They have a similar set of AMG replicas wheels for a similar price. Look on the left for 17" wheels after clicking on the Mercedes logo on their main page. Those are the ones I bought for my car. The differences are: polished lip, the spokes bend inward like the OEM ones, staggered setup (8.0" up front, 8.5 in the rear), but no AMG (or AME or AMC logo stamp). I included a pic below of the Eurotechs. Also included 2 pics of the E55 wheel and a 2 pics of a C55 wheel, so you can see the difference in the spokes and how the E's don't bend inward as much as the C's do. At least it's not as noticeable. The C55 wheels also have a noticeable lip, whereas the E55's blends more with the inner area of the wheel between the spokes.
Hope this helps, and good luck !! BTW, I am in no way affiated with Eurotech. Just happy with the wheels I bought from them

Lease Return - Stock Wheels
i'll be turning in my car next month and wondering if i have to have the 2006 oem wheels (Style/Model: Adharaz) or will other oem styles/models (for 2004-06) be acceptable?
