personally, i don't think it's wierd. the wheels do not have serial numbers, so i know i can swap used oem's when i return the car.
besides, i don't have storage space for 4 wheels & tires and don't feel like returning an almost brand new set.

not w/o spacers...you need something in the 30's for offset...with 8.5 front and 9.5 rear with out rolling

Have you modified anything else besides the wheels?
I see two things will happen...either the dealer won't care & that they will see it as your loss for spending $$ for modifying the car or they will charge you outrageous fees & penalties for getting the car back to the "original" condition.
Hope you read your contract!!
Besides the normal wear & tear you're responsible for replacing...they may
charge you eXtra for brake wear or suspension wear since you purposely changed the vehicle dynamics.
Remember there is no regulated standard fee for these wear/tear items. So they can charge you whatever they want.
per edmunds: "As the leasing market tightens up, banks are looking for a way to make money from returned cars. They will be more critical about wear and tear and any deviations from the lease contract".
What were you thinking selling the wheels?
Let's hope you will find the stock rims...good luck!!
