Do you think anything can happen to the car if it stays like this for another 72 hours? There should be a heavy storm this weekend so hopefully it will melt most of the snow.

Dude....the NY area is supposed to get more snow tonight and tomorrow!
The rain storm this weekend won't melt the snow...it'll just rain enough to crust the snow with ice.
Citron may be a hot color....but not hot enough to melt all that snow. Hope you enjoy your Benzcicle...lol
By the way....did you remember to close your windows and roof? lol

Oops, you better go check. Just dig it out real quick to make sure.

Just get in, start it up, let it run with the heater and defroster on full, get out and brush the snow off with a gloved hand. Anything that sticks to the car- so what. It will sublimate in bright sunlight or melt as the car warms enough to warm the metal body a little. I wouldn't be too anxious to get out on the road with it anyway...the C-Coupes ground clearance is way too low for anything but hardpack or 3-4 inches of fluff

instead of clearing off all the snow from the car (which will then lead you to clear it off the driveway meaning more work), clear off most of the snow from the path the car will take if you were going in reverse. then floor it out the drive way and do a 90-120 degree quick turn to let most of snow fall off. that should clear the windshield as well. so drive 40-60 mph around for awhile make quick sharp turns. i'm assuming:
1. your a good driver
2. you aren't going to hit anyone coming out of the drive way
3. friends with local police
that should work...

DO NOT drive around with ice on your hood. When it slides off it will leave DEEP clear coat scratches. I know because this has happened to me twice.
The first time I did not expect it to happen but the second time it slid off I never even realized it was loose it was frozen solid to my car just 2 hours before hand.
Best bet fluff out as much powder as you can from the car and wear some waterproof gloves. If there is a layer of ice on the car let it get a bit warmer and use a friend to lift the ice sheets of the car do not try to force it off...
Some friends of mine used hot water to remove all the ice from their car but I'm not sure how good that is for the paint with the extreme contrats in temperature.

Thanks for the tips guys. I think the easiest thing to do at this point is to just dig out the snow from the rear and on the drivers side a tad just so I can get inside. Then my plan is to backout of the mountain of snow. The thing is my driveway is not big enough to do ANY turns so I'll have to back up at a slight angle and then just go back out of the driveway ...that is, if the car starts.
