Fitting 19's on a C 230 K coupe, 19 by 9 WIDE

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33745

Those are 19 inch Giovanna Essen rims. Is there any chance they would fit my car? The tire size is 235/35/19 Falken.

I think the offset will provide a problem tho, 35 i think is the offset.

IS 9 inch way to big for the front?

I really like those rims!

They look just like chromed CL500 rims, which they now use on S-classes instead. Maybe they are slightly different, but not much.

9 inch is too big i think, the offset is all right. It will fit but you will be requiring some panel beating

Ive done business with the seller before, and tommrow I am going to test fit one to see for sure.

But do you think 9 inch wide all around will compromise my handleing?

Thanks for the responses.

Tried them on the front wheel today.

It fits PERFECT. No rubbing at ALL, but there is still quite a fender gap . I guess I will have to lower after all.

Is 235/35/19 safe on the 9 inch wide rim?

Otherwise, im gunna be getting these probably by this weekend. The rim sticks out a bit but htere is no rubbing AT ALL.

Your car wasn't lowered when you had the wheels on right??...if you lower your car it may rub the fender.
Personally I think 235/35/19 is a little bit too skinny for 9”, and I think 9” is a tad too wide for your front. Just my 02 cents.

Good luck

over here we use the term "tram line" to describe when a car veers to one side (camber of road dependant)a lot of your american coupes seem to pull to the right...a lot of our U.K. ones pull to the left.......but if you drive down the road on the wrong side (steady now!!!)you'll propably find it'll pull to the opposite side....and wider tyres do this worse......sometimes...and no...I dont know why this happens

Belive it or not, the 9 inch on the front is just barely sitcking out. It looks perfect. But do I run into any safety issue with having a tire like 235 on a 9 inch wheel? Im not sure if this is unsafe because the tire can roll off the rim?

Help me out!

Otherwise I got them for a steal price!

When I lower I bet it will rub, everything clears now tho

A 235 tire sounds way too narrow for a 9" rim. I think the C7 wheels are 7.5" and they have 225 tires. So I would think that a 235 would be good for an 8" wheel. It sounds like it may be unsafe, especially if you can't get the bead to hold because the tire is too narrow.
