![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Does anyone know if it's possible to retrofit a C240/C320 with the metal trim the C32 has on the speedo? I like the look - it brightens up the instrument cluster.
Has anyone done it? If so, what's the procedure? How much does it cost?
Thanks in advance.

I saw the silver trim today on a C32 and it does look nice.
I've asked the parts rep to look it up for me.

My parts guy said that the gauge cluster can not be taken apart and therefore they don't sell just the silver trim piece.
One would have to buy the whole AMG cluster for 1200CAD.

Wouldnt fit a C coupe tho, cuz our speedo's have that arch at the top, the sedan version is a flat constant curve.
You could "maybe" take the rear section of the c32 cluster, and latch it to the front lense portion of our Ccoupe cluster.
Not sure if it would work either, but from havin my cluster out, i know it splits

Do you mean that you can remove the transparent plastic that covers the gauges?
Then maybe someone can fabricate an aluminium AMG-like trim for the speedo![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
