Modifications, done by the euro pimp (Steve)!!
Euro Mirrors
C7 Pedals and wood leather steering wheel. Prices for the wood steering wheel are really cheap and new.
TV tuner notice the two RCA inputs.
Channel 28 no antenna, can't pick up anything.
TV tuner screen Notice AV1 and AV2.
TV tuner settings Notice the setting for the rear screen, next project!
This is the message it gives you when you start to drive.
Added a 12 volt outlet for DVD or and Xbox
Edit: All parts can be ordered through Steve, cheaper than you'll ever get them

Yo yo yo!
Switch on the **** stars and put on the Kid Rock!
Hey so the Euro mirror doesn't say
"Objects in Mirror are closer than they appear" ?
Oh please, I must have a Euro mirror!
This object in mirror thing is THE stupiest thing I've ever seen,
someone should be shot for even thinking of it, let alone apparently making it a law or something since they come on all new cars in the US.
"Objects in Mirror are closer than they appear"
is the name of the album I'm working on by the
"Dimly Aware Humans".

He Jay...showing off all the new features ?
I still have to resize my digital pictures I took in the states....so I can post pictures of snowy incar TV screens...
The euro mirror lenses don't display that US specific text about traffic you see and the distance to these "objects"...I never got that text...but then again, US spec cars are filled with all kind of warning stickers and textes...
The wood leather steering wheel looks good, too bad that you didn't have the proper airbag contactring, I think the CLK wheel would have even been nicer!

It appears that European (and apparantly some American) drivers have difficulty adjusting their mirrors properly so they make a wide angle mirror to accomondate them. The outer 1/3rd of the mirror is convex to widen the field of view. Just because it's used by those cowards, the Germans and French doesn't make it right.

Sure they are, that's because of the bad press, it's just marketing. Like the Germans would really stand behind one crazed leader without thinking for themselves I think they identify with Saddam Husein.

greetingz,
Thanks again for the awesome installs.
Post the pics here when you can, I'd like to see them.
For guys who want to upgrade their steering wheel, the new CLK 209 wheel fits several 203's. Providing you have the right contact pins in the steering column. Unfortunately it didn't fit mine.
You'll get the new airbag style and cool looking multifuctional wheel w/ an all wood top and bottom.
Steve has over stock in these wheels...

Using the improper antenna, we were able to view channels 7, 9 and 28 fairly good.

The parking brake and the brake pedal is just the cover, 5 mins tops, however the gas pedal is the whole replacement but still isn't hard.
Spend that money Mike!!!

Great mods!
Everything looks awesome !!! I really like the new steering wheel design but I think you need the wood interior to have a perfect match.
Again, great mods!

I would email Steve because the prices could vary depending on the condition of the steering wheel.
Looks good doesn't it?
I really wished it fit mine.

The OEM MB TV antenna related parts are way too expensive...the TV tuner has wicklick connectors for the TV antennas and I (well...not me but Scorchie ) either have to look for those separate connectors or I will have to use OEM MB adapter cables out of the cellphone setup...I don't know that yet and I don't have the time to look into that yet either...will do that later on.
The W203 wood leather steering wheels are all new...charcoal or ash or tan, all with burlwood...
The W209/R230 steering wheels fit all 203s BUT the 203 uses 2 different contactrings for the multfunctional airbag. The 203 uses 3pin and 4pin connectors to connect the multifunctional switches in the airbag...Those 203s that have the 3pin MF connecting contactring can use the 209/230 steering wheel, the 203s with a 4pin connecting contactring cannot use the 209/230 steering wheel.
Buellwinkle...regardless whether germand and/or french people are able to adjust their mirrors, these convex mirror glasses are a safety feature...something that somehow the US DOT doesn't want to accept...they think that a text printed on the glass is a better and safer feature...
UK mirrors are available with dimming rightside lenses...my 202 has 3 auto dimming mirrors...but somehow MB never made that a standard/optional setup yet...
