Sorry to bring this thread up but those of you guys who really want to do an engine wash please take a look at this.
I don't know who it was that said mercedes wouldn't reveal how they do their engine wash...well this is how they do it.

Hmm! - while this says engines ALL - the body of the doc pertains mainly to diesels OM 6 series & they talk about throttle likages etc that we don't have - again diesel. I don't understand the vehicle production time restrictions above.
I'll stick to MBSA rules for Petrol engines.

lol that is why i don't have water cooling in my pc. i know that with my luck a hose would break and i would reduce my computer down to a hunk of smoldering plastic. i would never wash the engine of my c320 with a hose or any high pressure. if i wanted to clean the engine bay i would use a cloth and cleaner spray. or if the dealer decides to leave my oil cap off again they can deal with cleaning the mess up.

3 pages of engine cleaning wow... How about this.. how about you wash your motor with your CAR on.. and tell everyone on here how it went...
If you don't wanna spend 4+ hours cleaning it with a spray bottle and a rag.. you shouldn't have even poped your hood...
