Who drives in the canyons?......
sup guys
So I was up at Mulholland the other day, and a lot of people were saying that Springs/Shocks are better for the canyons than C/O's......
none of them had a MBZ.....so idk if I really believe that.....
opinions?

It really depends on the spring and shocks cause there are all kinds of variables with different companies. I really like my H&R C/Os, handles real nice with little roll and gets the job done. Of course Im also equipped with Eibach sways as well and those really help with the cornering if anything.

i think ach is better...to bad its closed...they said usually springs and shocks a better because you can get aftermarket shocks that are usually better then the ones that come with coil overs and you can get custom spring rate springs. If you don't autox or do a lot of track time. Coil overs are fine.

I obviously wanna make the handling better....I have sway bars on the way
I'm asking cuz.....If springs/shocks are the way to go I'll get Koni's/H&Rs.....
But if C/O's are the way to go I'll just get like Eurotek springs till I can afford C/o's

I think blistein and kw is good enough to compare to shock & spring... but the obvious co that is will be worse than shock & spring is the tein basic... why by eurotek spring first? might as well go straight with H&R unless it is way cheaper...

lol I hear bad things about Tein.....so I'll stay away from that
I'd get Eurotek springs cuz they're the only ones that will work with OEM shocks.....so they're not as stiff as H&R's
but ya......I still don't know whats gonna be better in the end......C/O's or Springs/Shocks lol

I have TEIN's. Nothing bad to say.
Durable, and if necessary rebuildable as far as shocks.
I haul **** up canyons everyday you wouldn't believe.
The car never ever goes off track....amazing, I can be boucing in almost any direction,
but almost no correction is needed from the steering wheel.
Adjustable shocks and a thicker bars, well then you've got it!
Truely awe inspiring, when you are driving like mad, and the car is so
comfortable to drive at extreme limits, like when driving with 2 feet,
to reduce your response time, pushing though corners.....
oh yeh.....I want the AMG "Speedshift" and for the tranny to not upshift.
I wish the speedshift thing was just a software thing.....
Durable, and if necessary rebuildable as far as shocks.

^ that's what I though too.....but the Euroteck sponsor (Neil?) told me otherwise......
and they have adjustable shocks.....I know they're prolly not as adjustable as C/O's but still....

..........but if you use OEM shocks w/ most aftermarket springs, the shocks will blow after a while (especially if you drive hard). That isn't supposed to happen w/ these springs
