all y'all who have metalized tint on the rear window, have u had issues with the RF aspect of the keyfob not being able to unlock/lock/trunk to work.

im trying to figure out the issue with my car and it seem s like this might be the last resort.
i could have sworn it worked fine when i got my tint but maybe it wasnt locking back then.

So maybe try removing the tint and see whether or not it makes a diff.

well yeah, but i would like to avoid that if poosssible.

thats why i am wondering if anyone has a metalized films has had the same issue

their have been multiple people with key problems cased by tint.

i have metallic tint on my car on all 5 windows. My key fob still works, i think the range is reduced a little compared to stock but it still works. i would just try replacing the battery in your key if you have trouble unlock and locking remotely.

It depends on the tint - some destroy reception completely.
