Smoking and driving don't mix.

just about the only thing you can do is replace it, they dont make fabric repairs for that area of the car, so buying a new or used one is about your only option. If it was in the leather it can be fixed, we did it all the time at the dealer I used to work at but the weaved fabric on that pillar is not fixable.

I will take a burn on that pillar than the countless other issues I have had in the past with this car. P/S Pump, R&P, CPS just to name a few.

But replacing it is the only option.

Sharpie or wood marker!

But no, on a serious note, like the others have said, just replace it. Maybe it won't be so hard to install, so you could do that yourself.

Replace the panel & don't smoke in the car. I'm a smoker but no smoking allowed in my cars. I want to smell the leather!!!

Just keep smoking, and in 20 years, you'll have bigger things to worry about.

If you trust yourself, there are repair kits that make it look semi-decent. Otherwise, scour the junkyards, or buy new (if you do buy new, check w/Mr. Brenton - Rick can usually get a good discount over the dealerships).

Sorry but seeing people smoke in cars and flick ashes out of the window looks trailer park. Being in the medical industry I see the effects of smoking every day and the prognosis is not good. You should be more worried about what that cigarette is doing to you because you can replace the interior piece or even the car. The vehicle keeping you breathing and moving can't be so easily replaced.

I don't know you and I've never seen you but I can tell you with good certainty what will end up killing you or afflicting you in your later years if you keep up that nasty habit.

Sorry...I know this is not what you signed on to hear but remember this is an open opinion forum and you need to hear this from time to time. I've smoked in my teens and 20's and finally got smart once I became better educated.

Thank you for all the advice you guys have given me.
To me, The only option is to replace it, just to keep the car fresh and clean.
Repairing it wouldn't give me peace of mind as much, but thanks anyways.

..And for the sharpie trick..haha good idea..for a honda!
(No offense to honda drivers)

18 years old? Man you're not addicted, quit while you can. How many smokes do you go through a day?

I started off at 15 promising myself 1 a day. By the time I was 18 I would go through a pack a day. Now i'm 24 and I smoke 2 packs a day, 4,380 dollars a year not to mention affects health. WTF is going to happen when I become 30? 3 packs a day?

Quit man, quit that habbit or if you can not, cut down. Cutting down plays a huge role too.

We who live in SoCal should be more worried since a study showed how bad the pollution is. I guess technically I am smoking 4 packs a day...6 packs if a beat up van is in front of me

The older you get the more responsibilities you are going to have and those are going to be excuses for you not to quit ("I'm stressed out", "I'll quit once I finish school", "I'll quit once I get a job", "I'll quit once I get married", "I'll quit when I have a child", "I'll quit when my children go off to school" then it might be too late (sorry to say and I hope no one ever experiences that day).

Quit while you can

Good Luck,

wow, pretty serious point given by Karo, i've been fortunate enough to never have gotten tempted....oh yea and by the way it's probably better if you just replace the piece and keep it clean.

Nice, keep it up.

Food will start tasting better soon too. Your gonna start eating a lot more. So keep healthy snacks so you can munch on those rather than junk food.

Congrats..you might have urges once in a while just remember it's only max for 5 min then it goes away.
