I'm in my busy time of the year right now, but as soon as 12/15 passes, I am hoping to stop by my bodyshop and talk to them. The rust in front of my passenger rear wheelwell is not going away on its own, so I will deal with it sooner rather than later. So figure early January at the latest.

Christmas Delivery Notice...
Should you want to order one of my badges for the holidays (as a gift for yourself or someone else), I suggest that you contact me so that your order can be placed no later than Saturday, Dec. 18. This will ensure that your package is mailled on the 20th for delivery by Dec. 23rd.
I mail all my badges using USPS Priority Mail, in a Small Flat Rate Box, with delivery in 2-3 business days.
Each year, someone always wants to place an order at the last minute and demand overnight delivery. I can't accomodate these, as I will be travelling and out of touch after Dec. 22. Orders placed after this time will be shipped on Dec. 27.
So, if you want a badge before Christmas, please place your order sometime this coming week, please. Thanks.

So while dropping a deuce at an Xmas party in the Village, thought I'd give a brief update.
Took the car to my bodyshop this morning. They're going to fix my rust on my qp when I drop the car off on Tuesday. Also talked about the badge, and they didn't think it would be a problem to install. With luck, I should have it installed by Xmas. Will definitely take before and afters. Now, back to the spiked eggnog for me.

How bad is your rust? I have two very small dots on two diffrent doors that i wanted to get fixed.

It's very bad; it's the flat panel between the moulding strip running half-way down the car and the bottom moulding right in front of the rear wheel. I could probably pull the portion that's bent right in front of the wheel completely off with my bare hands. However, the guy said that they should be able to just paint that portion and not the entire qp, which would save a fair amount of cabbage.
Which is good, because they're also going to install the updated stalks I've had for several months now, as well as the center switchrow that I have with all options listed except distronic or parktronic, whichever is on the switchrow. I'm interested to see how that looks, and if they will all light up, or not because I do not have those options. Unfortunately, I finally got word that my blue cf steering wheel is finally done after 9 months (long story), and that he's going to ship it. I'll have to have that installed later, probably when I have the puddle lights and tach finally installed as well.

1) want a WHITE STAR Flat Badge with a serial number at or below 450,

As of today, there are 467 White Star Flat Badges in circulation, leaving just 33 more to go before the 500 milestone is reached. I will continue to make these until I run out of parts, which should take it to about 675 badges.
However, I have not decided whether to continue numbering these after the first 500 are sold.
In either case, if serail numbers mean anything to you, you should plan to contact me soon if you want a White Star Flat Badge numbered 500 or less.
Next AMG Badge to be sold is Serial #52. By anyone's measure, these are rare, indeed.

I sent dfwdude an email on Thursday inquiring about the white star badge, it was received and installed by sun morning. I couldn't be happier, although, it has inspired me to change the grill. extremely easy to install, and looks great against the black hood. I will post pictures after the grill is swapped. if you are on the fence about buying one I say go for it, I'm very happy with quality and the turn around time, and if he stops at 500 you are running out of time, I'm 484. hurry while supplies last.
