WHITE STAR Flat Badges back in stock! NEW AMG Flat Badge Now Available!

an AMG Flat Badge.

Both flat badges are handmade from a genuine Mercedes upright hood ornament, part 210 880 01 86, using the original mount of the OEM part. So, they will fit all cars using this part: C-Class Sedans (only) 1995-present (W202, W203, W204 Sport or Luxury); E-Class 1995-present (W210, W211, W212); S-Class 1995-present (W220, W221), and CLK 1998-2002 (W208). These badges will NOT fit cars not designed to use the Original upright hood ornament, such as the W204 C63 AMG or the W203 Coupe.
Of course, the new AMG Flat Badge appropriately fits ALL AMG variants of cars above. The AMG badge offers enough contrast that it can also be used on cars with the tri-star badge on the grille, thus avoiding the “double badge” duplicate star issue on the newest car models.
The following picture (to right) shows the mount and lock of these badges, used without alteration from the original upright star. This ensures that your replacement flat badge will lock in the hood, just like your upright star. (Not like other flat badges that use funky screw posts with washers and wing nuts that take time to adjust.) It takes just seconds to remove your original upright ornament and replace it with either the WHITE STAR Flat Badge or the AMG Flat Badge. Switch back and forth between your original ornament and flat badge anytime the whim strikes you.

Each badge is autographed and serial numbered. Serial numbers are assigned in the order payment is received.
There currently are 365 serial-numbered WHITE STAR Flat Badges in circulation. The new AMG Flat Badge will start a new sequence of serial numbers, beginning at 003.
Your badge is delivered in 2-3 business days, via USPS Priority Mail, anywhere in the US. Int'l delivery available on request.
As always, I do not talk about pricing at MBWorld. This is to avoid confusion on the forums where I can be more specific off line. If you are interested, simply click on my e-mail address below my signature, and send me an e-mail. I will respond promptly, as always.

My Badges are not the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive. But I don't want prices to become the primary focus of the discussion. I'd rather see people have fun posting pics of my work on their cars.
I purchased one from DFW dude a while ago. His response/customer service was fantastic.
I really like the look of the badge on my w202 ( I have the original style). Plus the it fits perfectly, unlike the plastic one you can get other places. Those don't fit the indent in the hood. Highly recommended if you want to have a flat badge.

DFWdude@tx.rr.com Please Write to me.
As for pricing, it varies slightly depending on if you want a WHITE STAR or an AMG Badge. The pricing is lower than noted, but I will not get into it here. Simply write and I will provide ALL the details. Thanks

So, when I found the new factory, I remembered this and went back to the drawing board to push the limits of vertical relief that could be had in the metal WHITE STAR insert stamping.
A comparison between the original design (badges 003-365 - left) and the inserts used in current production (right) is noted below. There's now more depth in the parts.

The 'current production' looks hella' bomb... Makes me want to ditch my #348 for a newer one because of the 'depth'
I also like how it's different than the older ones.
Makes the old one seem unique
Haha.
My 'old edition' still rocks though, but it has become yellowish.
Kind of like a faded glow-in-the-dark look. Probably due to the sun

Can you PM me the price for the new one?
I don't know why, but I'd consider a 'current production' if it's not too much

There now are nearly 50 of the new design in circulation. Can you folks post some pictures, please?
