150,002 by the time I looked at the Odometer.
Just replaced the fuel filter and a coil pack.
Running good!

Excellent - those lawnmowers that were built in a shed/old bunker outside Berlin are certainly tough.

Out Of Control!!
Congrats - just hit 128k myself this week.
Hitting the autoshows the next couple of months to see what's next for me on the horizon. I'm thinking Mini Roadster, BMW 1 series (used), or Fiat 500 (the higher hp version) - I need to get back into a much smaller car but still have it be fun.
Are you going to run it til it can run no more?

The high hp version is an Abarth?
I saw this car in So Cal some time back. http://www.littlefiatbigadventure.co...enture2008.htm
Super cool car. I'd post up the pics of me in the car, but it was back in my fat phase. eerrrhmpf, I'm down some 25 lbs since then, and don't care to look at those pics.
Any case here is another blog to check out.

That and the Alfa Mito were my favorites from this past fall's drive from Austria to Trieste to Venice. Also saw the new Scirrocco, too.
Thanks for the links, Ed! Looks like a winner, assuming the old Fiat quality control nightmares aren't still around.

There are also in place parts providers who are sure to get into the aftermarket parts specific to the 500 as well.

So, I'd say give it some serious consideration.

Just about ripped my front bumper off from a tree root.
Thought about taking it the insurance company but
a. 500 deductible.
b. 750 I gotta report to the DMV and
c. I was able to fix it myself, but it doesn't quite line up perfectly.
I glued a piece of tin to the bumper where the plastic hole got torn,
and was able to screw it all back together.
