Smile 2007 C280 Cabin Filters Replacement

Can someone please tell me where the charcoal cabin filters are located and the procedure to change them out on a 2007 C280 4Matic?

I have removed the facia under the glove box, but can't seem to figure out how to proceed from there.

I'm pretty sure they stopped using the charcoal filters. It was only an option on the earlier model C320's and there was a separate button to activate it. I'm almost certain you don't have the feature on your 2007.

Ha!...Might be a really good reason why I and a friend who restores vintage Mercedes couldn't find them!

I think I need to find a new local auto parts supplier. They special ordered these two filters for me and I just went on blind faith that they knew what they were talking about.

Sometimes it's the really obvious and simple solutions that escape one!

Thanks very much for your help!

That's SWEET!!!!! I don't know why but I really love to see older MB's! They have a Cars and Coffee here in Irvine and sometimes some older 190SL's and a couple others show up. Really beautiful, timeless cars.

Indeed you are right. He has a 1957 190SL that he has restored to show quality and many awards to prove it. Also has a 1972 280SL. Both Red. In the summer (We are in northern Michigan, so you have to take advantage of the short summers) we'll tour around with both cars, tops down of course, and get a lot of attention. Sometimes more fun than driving the newer ones.

Thanks again for your help.
