05 C230 SS/ 01 Jetta 1.8T/97 CR-V
2005 C230SS w/ 19" Rays MasterPiece DIA106
After contemplating over Vellano VSA which would have cost $5500 with tires I decided to get the Rays Engineering DIA106. Not bad with the Diamond cut finish. Hope you all enjoy cause its too hard to find wheels that clear the big brakes.After visiting 6 Shops in the area and countless hours looking at this thread and many others I finally found something that fits, still appealed to me, and didnt cost an arm and a leg. Sorry about the dirty looking tires. Brand new tires and I didnt have time to put on some dressing.

about the side markers - i agree with the clear -- BUT-- if you dont mind spending the 150 bucks to buy a set of "euro impact strips" you should! the euro impact strips dont require the sidemarkers overseas therefore it is omitted. check em out! i ordered a set of clear sides for now -- but when i wanna spend the money one the new ones im gonna go that route for sure!
btw,sounds like my mods and your mods are quite similar, hehe

i got the car in august and found this site last month while trying to install some audio/electronics equip. in the car.. i saw all these guys rides and got veryyyy jealous! lol-- next thing you know, every MB you see on the street you start checkin it out-lookin for mods-haha. so i guess i caught the mod bug!

hey we all gotta start somewhere bro! and i think the front end is a great place to start!

C 240 4-Matic
New as well - Hi!
Hi;
Thought I'd post a pic of our "new to us" C 240. This is after a 100 mile drive in a snow storm and sitting overnight in a light snow. Before it warmed up and I plowed the drive. To much stuff in the garage, but I corrected that situation today. Now I have almost all my cylinders in one place.
Now I know why I wanted a 4-Matic. This car is rock solid in the snow, both fresh and hard packed. But it also shows why it need mud flaps. have them, just got to get them installed.
So far, I love the car, well worth it's price. just flipped 30K yesterday.
We live in a rural area mostly, with questionable snow removal, slow at best. So the need for a sure footed car is important. I can't drive the truck everywhere and it not a very efficient way to get around when it's just the two of us. I can't wait to learn more about the car and get some "personalization" done.
Anyway, Hi and we'll catch ya later.

make sure you get a lot of "before" pictures of that car, if you keep hanging around here- its going to start to look very different very soon :P haha

Those wheels are DOPE!
I just got mine in last week and got the tires Friday however they didnt even come close to clearing in the front!
Any sugg. on spacers?? I need some fattys in the front for sure and maybe 5-8mm in Rear?

haha yeah i get a lot of snow here in new england too, i have a bunch of pics of my car in the snow with underglow on. i dont have the 4matic so i have snow tires to compensate.
