steering wheel with gear shift buttons
Dear all,
i have a c230 komp SS 2005, my steering wheel is the three spoke (the one in all 2005 SS models) , i lately found in a shop a steering wheel that is the same of mine but without the airbag ( mine fit perfectly) but it has gear shift buttons on the back , i don't know for which car is it but the guy told that maybe it is the one for the slk, i was wondering if someone did that or know about making the gear shift buttons work if i installed the steering wheel, thank you a lot in advance for your help

sorry i meant that its easier than the 2001-2004 versions, and for example look at this german's model : http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/sh...ne&tabNumber=2
it has an analog climate unit, and gearshifts from the back (but not like than one i was talking about) , i never saw a USA c230 having this

If your car already have the back buttons then its easy to retrofit otherwise you have to wire it up to your transmission,

i took a picture of the airbag of my steering wheel , u can see that i circled 2 things and they are exactly as the wires that come out from the gear shifts , i think it is by default compatible, anyway tomorow i will try it
