so with UHI from Steve, would I need to buy the 6200 cradle, or does the kit come with it when you tell 'em its a NOKIA 6200 ?

nope all you need is the phone! all i have right now is the 6230b phone. the rest Steve is providing.
The kit consists of:
- UHI PSE
- UHI clip
- UHI cradle (varies by phone)
- middle console floor (depends on model)
- cradle wire harness
- antenna adapter

hmm....I did stfgdf.....and there's nothing about the Moto V3 (it's a new phone)
Point is.....since I already have the PSE, Clip, Harness, Ant Splitter, and amp (for Teleaid) in both cars.....will I need to replace anything besides the cradle?

My friend bought the Sony Ericsson "hard wire install" bluetooth car kit. He got it installed at Best Buy. It works great! It automatically syncs, and the speaker is very comparable to the OEM Mercedes Benz car kit. Everything is hidden, mic by the visor. Best Buy offers a lifetime warranty on the install and free uninstallation for life! Sound quality is awesome! I plan on getting one myself.

The 2005 MB integrated telephone is due to start shipping in the middle of October. This post and this post have information on that solution.
It is likely that definitive answers won't be forthcoming until after these phones start shipping.
But, given the fact that MB requires the MY 05 vehicles to get the $765 MOST telephone interface, it seems likely that the telphones will use that, along with the UHI. It may be that the Bluetooth, if present, might be usable for other vehicles.

i too always change my mobile phones as well. the longest i had one was my 8290 nokia ( 13 months). this year alone i had a samsung in the beginning of the year, motorola V400 (2 months), V600 (4 months), and just got my nokia 6230b 1 1/2 weeks ago. for the UHI all you have to do is change the cradle from what i understand.

2004 C320 pewter/charcoal
re: getting a integrated phone
Just saw your posting and I had a similar situation.
I have a 2004 C320 that did not have the factory integrated phone option. After awhile I thought it would be nice to have one (plus it would get rid of that stupid no phone message on the console). You need to get the V60 phone system (not the Timeport which I believe is for the ML line). I ended up getting a great deal on ebay that included the phone, voice recognition component, and all the hardware needed for about $850. Just to let you know, I think just the phone itself from the dealership is in the $400-500 range. And if you aren't aware of it by now, it has to be a Mercedes Benz Motorola V60 (beware of cheap imitations on ebay where they just have the Mercedes Benz cover put on, the only phones that work are the ones that have the Mercedes Benz logo come on the screen when you power up the phone, all other phones will NOT work). Anyway, I took the whole set to the dealership which originally balked at the concept (the set I got was from a 2002 C230 and they had originally told me that after 2003 the cars were wired differntly and therefore this could not work). After prodding them, they finally did install it and it works great. They ended up charging me about $400 for the install (grand total around $1250). I think a they charge $2500 for the voice recognition component/hardware which does not include the phone).
Anyway, I love the system, it makes driving much safer. The phone charges while you drive, turns on and off based on whether the key is in or not automatically. Music mutes automatically with use of the phone. Plus it uses all your speakers for the conversation which sound really impressive (if it is a private call you don't want passengers to hear, there is a cradle the phone is attached to that can be detached from the center arm rest and you can hold the phone to your ear. Be warned, though, you will lose the majority of storage space in your center armrest with the phone.
