So theres no way of hooking up bluetooth the 07 c230ss?
Why would it have all the phone buttons in the car? steering wheel and center console?

if it was ordered with the phone it would work perfectly. remember the 07 is the worst year to buy if you want to do upgrades like aux input and adding phone because they took out a lot of the prewiring.

Technically you could still install the phone system but it would be a ton of work and it would cost a ton of money.

Interesting... my face lifted model seems to have all of the wiring, mounts, and the port for the steering wheel stalk. Always wanted to find the VCS module on ebay real cheap.

even if its prewired its still not that easy. it isn't fully prewired, just partially. theres like 2 harnesses and the puck thing if I remember correctly from when I was thinking about purchasing one from the dealership.

PS they wanted over $1000 to install it if that tells you anything about how "not simple" it is... so figure several hours of labor.

Making bluetooth work
1. Is the Motorola Phone a bluetooth phone?
2. Does your car use a bluetooth puck?
3. Is the phone enabled/connected to a provider?
4. If the phone is a bluetooth phone and you have a bluetooth puck, you need to push the blue button on the puck and use the connection function on the phone to get them to work together.

Just for you buys info, we have been the developer/distributor of the bluetooth systems for Mercedes since 2004. You might want to look at our site. The systems work EXACTLY like the factory system PLUS give you many more options and are software upgradable for future phones and features (unlike the antiquated factory parts).

EISKITs, the manufacturer, is having supply issues. The new models work better than ever, but there is about a 6-8 week wait on them, so we are not going to take any more orders till we fill the shelves with them.

Bluetooth not pairing
Hi all,
Newbie to this forum, Newbie to Mercedes.
Apologies in advance if my question is stupid.
I just picked up an 06 w203 and the dealer told me it had Bluetooth.
I do NOT appear to have a Bluetooth puck installed. (Unless it's somewhere other than where it should be?)
Despite this, when I open the SERV menu, the Bl.tooth option is available and when pressed begins searching for devices.
It finds my iPhone 4, ( and incidentally the portable hands free device I've been using in the meantime.), and lets me pair with it and authorise it.
The code entered comes up on my phone, so clearly there is a connection happening, but the phone doesn't connect and NOT CONNECTED appears on the status bar?
Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
I'm sorry if this as been covered already, but I've searched for hours and found plenty of threads about installing Bluetooth but nothing about how it works.
If it's relevant - I'm in Australia.
