Coupe wheel fitment

Hey all,

I'm looking at a set of wheels that are 18x8.5 (f) and 18x9.5 (r), offset 35(f) and 38(r). Will these fit/rub? I am lowered about an inch all around on Eibachs.

Thanks

.

Thanks, I like them too...and they were really hard to get a hold of when I bought them last year. But, I think I'd like to go bigger, and I like the look of the lip on these wheels...

They're Brabus reps, and I really like the look. Very clean.

What did you do with your '07s? I might be interested depending on the condition.

I have them in storage for the winter months, not sure whether I'll keep them or do something different. They are in nice condition, a few minor scratches here and there, but they look good. Plus the tires are in good condition as well (~4k miles on them).

Just curious. I have ridiculous curb rash at the bend on every single spoke on one of my fronts. I got the car that way.

my fronts are near perfect. the rears have a tiny bit of rash which I have touched up and it looks great. Hard to keep them perfect while parallel parking in NYC.

Anyway, it looks like enough people have bigger wheel/tire combos on the coupe than I do, so I think I'm probably ok with the new wheels should I decide to go that route..

Well, if you decide to get rid of them at some point, would you mind letting me know? Sorry this is so off topic.

By the way, did you find the W203 Wheel thread?

They should fit on your car depending on the series of the rear tire. I went 265/35 with 19x19.5 in the rear and it BARELY fit. The front shouldn't be an issue but the rear may be on bumps and dips. Also having camber adjustment might help too.
Sorry, wish I had better example photos but these are the best I've got for now.

Man, sorry to see your coupe like that! Thanks for the images though, they do help. My rear tires tuck into the fender wells as it is now with 245/40/17s, but with some room to spare. I might stick with a 255/35/18 instead of 265...I don't want rubbing issues..

What were the offsets on those wheels from your coupe?

It's ok... Once the coupe was totaled, I got a new C300 lol.
The offset of my wheels was a 40. I only went with 265/35 so that I wouldn't be sitting on thin tires and try to salvage at least some ride quality while avoiding dings/dents from potholes.
265/35 = 92.75mm sidewall
255/35 = 89.25mm sidewall

Those should be fine. Still plenty of room for hella flush fitment.
