Need Help Replacing Wiper Blades on 2005 C230
I desperately need to replace the wiper blades on my 2005 C230 Kompressor. Before I order anything, I wanted to run it by you guys to make sure I'm ordering the right thing.
I'm unsure whether I should order wiper blade refill/inserts like these: link. Or whether I should order an entire wiper blade assembly like this one: link. Also, does anyone have any recommendations other than the ones I found above?

Yours is a 2005, so you should have the Valeo Aero blades, which don't offer a insert, as the blade and insert are 1 piece, unlike traditional blades/wipers. Here they are at RM European: http://www.rmeuropean.com/Part-Numbe..._B334A2B9.aspx Are those ones pictured the same that you currently have?

Thanks for the quick responses everyone. Karo - while I would normally agree with you that those are excellent wiper blades, my wife typically drives this car and, for some reason, I think she may beg to differ.

I thought these all had Bosch, but found mine is indeed the Valeo SWF. There are supposed to be refills, actually. But...
I ordered refills from Autohausaz. They arrived quickly but were incorrect. The refills that came do say SWF right on the blade, but they are not the right shape. Maybe "SWF" has been whored out onto umpteen products the way Goodyear did with "Eagle"

and the same guy posted a "how to change" which is the only one with real close-ups (amazing how many sillies post instructions and videos useless due to tiny pictures or zoomed way out).
I begin to see why many folks just buy the whole blade...
