Well, a long time ago I took my car to Nokia dealer to install a cell phone. They did every thing to me. I think they had to take electricity or something from the radio. So they touched the radio for sure.

Since then the speed sensitivity for the radio volume is not working. My worst fear is that they ripped a wire without noticing.

But my hopes are on… could it possible that the speed sensitivity automatically got disabled?
Maybe they reset something in the radio and that caused the speed sensitivity to get disabled?

Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure the setting on your instrument cluster still has the speed sensitive adjustment as enabled.

I have new C230 Coupe and don't seem to see any setting in my instrument cluster that can enable or disable the speed sensitivity setting. I heard that can only be done at service. Am I missing something?

I believe you have to go to the main setting and it's under "CONVENIENCE"

What you are talking about is not available under *convenience*. That setting is handled thru the DAS software and the setting here are 0, 3, 6 and 9 dB. No charge!

With all due respect, what you're talking about is the amount of decibles the volume increases or decreases.
I believe this feature can be disabled....

....now you're motivating me to get up and double check before I make an *** out of myself :o

well, there is no speed sensitive adjustment in the instrument cluster. well, unless there is a way to show it that I don't know of.


well, two missiles were about to hit Kuwait couple of minutes ago. one of them was intercepted with a Patriot. the other fall out side Kuwait.
it seems that one of them had a chemical head. they fired the sirens after the missile fall. and the defense speaker was nervous and couldn't make one complete sentence!

4:50pm two sirens straight after each other...This is gettin scarier...Saddam said on the TV today that he will attack Kuwait for supporting the US. He also said he will dress some of his soldiers in US Marine Outfits so they can infiltrate from within...Were on the 5th siren today

We have treaties with America, the UK, France, Germany, Russia, China, Australia and a lot of other countries in the world.

All of them to protect us from Iraq. Where would all of them go? I don’t think Iraq is gonna be able to invade us again…
…well, yeah maybe they can. Especially that we have traitors between us that are planning to flee the country

Still don't know where you're seeing even a "Convenience" section Silver? Would love to adjust that setting myself but I think it can only be done by the dealer.

according to the manual, the Convenience option is available for cars with seats with memory.

well, but that still doesn't show how to change the audio option. since its not there either.
