Right front wheel fluid leak??

'03 C240
Right front wheel fluid leak??
I just noticed what appears to be a fluid leak under the right front tire of my 03 C240. Now I'm worried it could be a nasty brake problem (caliper?) Anyone experience this? Am I dealing with a costly fix? Just bought the car and wondering. Thanks.

It seems to be a somewhat clear odorless fluid with some viscosity..? Can't tell right for sure as it's dark now. Wouldn't a brake warning light come on if it was brake related? If it's the bushing, is this a costly fix? So many questions.. Sorry for being such a noob and really appreciate your answers.

Im with E1000 now that you said its clear fluid, brake fluid in a car of your age would have a reddish hue to it, so a bushing sounds right, its a bit involved to fix but do-able. Would take a few hours, I did it on a focus and it wasn't to bad. Dont know what part are but Im sure some one will chime in who does! Good luck

If you want to replace the bushing without replacing the whole control arm, you'll need to find someone with a press to remove the old bushing and push in the new one.
Brake fluid has hopefully been replaced at least once, so there's no telling what color it is. If it was brake fluid you will absolutely get a low brake fluid warning.

You may want to check coolant level as well. Some benz coolant will appear somewhat clear. There is a cover/splash guard under the whole engine-underside of the front of the car. Often times fluid from elsewhere in the engine compartment can run over to the lowest point and drain in an odd spot giving you a false clue...how big is the spot/puddle ? A control arm bushing will leak, but not a huge amount....
Just saying, check all fluids and see if there are any leaks under the hood from elsewhere.

Checked this morning and saw that it indeed has some "color" to it. Attached is a phone pic of it. Ignore the dark spots as they are from an older vehicle. Still no warning light, btw and can't see any visible leak under the hood. Thanks so much for your help.
