How to set clock with Comand?
Does anyone know how to set the clock with the Comand unit? After I had my cluster coded to Comand present my clock is 2 hours behind. The timeset option in the Comand menu is still greyed out. I thought it might be set by the GPS but it has been a few weeks and its still wrong. Was there some other option I was supposed to have changed?

You can set your time through the steering wheel/dash menu. You also have an option there to sync it w/ the head unit/comand. Adjusting the daylight savings may help too.

It is no longer in MFD because COMAND is setting the time through GPS Satellite...What you CAN do - if you already have not...is on the COMAND Menu set it to your location, this will get you accurate (well within 1 minute to our Verizon phones) time...and from there you can adjust Day Light Savings....
You have "lost" your ability to set the time how you want (5 / 10 minutes ahead for example) if you have now installed COMAND.

I finally found the manual and it says in there I set the time zone but that is in the timeset menu which I can't get into. I looked around in the "secret menu" and nothing in there lets me do what I need to do.
This radio is out of a G-Class but I don't see why that should make any difference.

91RS,
I have the same exact problem; I just retrofitted a W209 Comand into my W209 and I can't set the clock.
I read in the manual that when the Comand is reset it defaults to the Central timezone. I can only assume it is set to standard time which would explain why our clocks are two hours behind.
Until I read your post I was thinking my timeset option was disabled because I haven't had the cluster coded, but reading that yours has been coded and you're still unable to set the time is not very reassuring.
I am going to try to set my analog clock and see if that helps -- I'll report back my findings.
