Where can I get a cold air intake for my 2007 c230
I was wondering what I should be spending and where I should buy them from.. Also I was wondering if they are easy to install on your own, or you have to get them done professionally?
Thanks in advance!!!

I just want a deeper sound when I rev, and a little better gas milage i guess..
Did you notice any difference with your filters? where'd you get them from..
And yeah manual in this car is amazing. The clutch is so smooth, I wish it was more common in MB
"""""" Other than looks, it's a waste of money. With dual intake paths and two huge air filters, the V6 engines in the W203 are definitely not being air starved. Also, the factory intake ducts pickup in front of the radiator for about the coolest air you can get, plus benefiting from a "ram" effect with air forced in at highway speeds. This aftermarket intake sits behind the radiator, thus pulling in hot air and also not benefiting from any forced air. I'd save my money for something more worthwhile, like a transmission service and a new set of plugs."""""""
The idea of a cold air intake is simple. Cooler air = more power. Basic rule is for every 10degrees you can lower the temperature, you gain 1% hp. I really don't see how adding a restriction point for airflow and more heat will help the engine any.
It's a solid design. You really can't improve on it.
On a side note, it's totally not worth it. Each kit requires a bottle of gas that helps cool the air. You'd have to refill it to continue to have a functioning intake. IMO that's just the lame filling in a weak-***-sammitch.
You're better off only driving your car at sea level and when its cold.

On my previous turbocharged car, the spool was appreciably more audible, but on these vehicles, I speculate you'd see no improvement in, well, anything!
Not to mention, ~$300 for $20 worth of garbage is robbery.
To OP,
The trottle body is at the back of the engine, 2 short plastic pipes will do nothing. A custom setup might work well but I recomend you doing alot more research and reading, (dont bring that weak **** up in here
) someone has made a CAI using the battery box.

Anyway, been distracted with the body work needed to trim my bumper to accommodate the new exhaust. Will update my thread asap.
Oh and ISLES, sorry for the thread-jack. :bows like an asian:
If it brings a
and a giddy little giggle to you once you've tired it out for the first time, it's totally worth it. It's like feeling boost for the first time, or hearing your first intake/exhaust with the windows down. It ranks right up there with being genuinely called "cutie" by a beautiful woman.

) has this exact setup and it doesn't sound meaner just makes a hissing sound. Don't waste your money on it.
What if it's already been done?
