anywhose, the C230 was totaled a while ago. Dumbass rear ended me on the freeway while I was stopped in traffic causing a big pileup.

Glad you are ok Emin. We haven't heard from you in a long time. I remember you mentioned you were looking into a different car and I thought maybe you bought that G35 you were talking about.

What are you driving now? Get another 203 and join us again.

Nothing much changed around here still same old. The biggest shocker was Patrick's secret came out. It all happened when we were at a MB party. Patrick went to use the restroom and a member saw him squatting on the toilet and then we confronted him. We looked at his Drivers License and Patrick is really Patricia.

We got couple of new members and they are pretty cool (down to earth dudes).

Basically what happened was I was on the freeway stuck in traffic behind an accord. Two girls (who were ugly) in a honda fit were texting or something and didnt realize there was traffic. She slammed her brakes last second (which did no good) and she plowed into me going 45-50. I ended up hitting the car in front of me because of her momentum and force. RIP my car...

Front was what got the car totaled. Estimated $7500 front and another $7000 for the back. The radiator and such were damaged

Hey, sorry to hear about your car. But that's more like 10-15mph. Have you seen the destruction that 31-40mph does to a car? Had it been speeds of 45-50mph the car would have significantly more damage. The forces in car crashes are so high it probably felt like that fast.

Just went over the police report and your right. Based on the skid marks they said she hit me @ 25. Her car looked like ^that^ though. LOL

Based on its wheels Id say thats a camaro though. 45 hitting a chevy and 45 hitting a Mercedes will look a tad bit different. Just sayin

Actually it probably won't. Modern cars are all very safe and you'll be hard pressed to find one that performs badly. They all have crumple zones that all work the same and the last thing passengers need are cars that come out of impacts with little damage because then they have to absorb it. It was a new Camaro, though, yes. The Fit probably did look like that, as the mass of the Fit and C230 is quite different.

That was 14500 in damage?! Wow. I had a near miss with my C230 the other day. I had no idea so little exterior damage could land these cars totalled.

Yeah LOL. I pressed my insurance and told them this car would go nowhere but a Mercedes Dealer Collision Center just because I knew they would replace everything in sight haha. Sometimes its good to go to a stealer. There was quite a bit of underbody damage as well which I think sealed the deal for me

State Farm tells me that I have to take it to a selected number of places or pay the difference. But the one repair I've had on my C230 was done by a State Farm approved place and they used OEM parts so maybe that's not so bad.
