May I also suggest that now once the Wagon owners see this now we will need to create a W203 Wagon Sub Forum...Even though in SDS/DAS all the Wagons/Sedans/Coupes are grouped together??

I don't care less either way - next thing someone will want a "wagon forum" or CLC forum or whatever. I'm a little suspicious that someone here wants to be a big splash in a small puddle however!

For most problems the Coupe guys would come into the sedan forum anyway because by shear weight of numbers it is where the greatest depth of experience lies. It's interesting that some of the AMG guys like Frank, TemjinX2 & splinter are stalwarts of the sedan forum.

It's already been ruled on. No separate forum. Deal with it, and move on.

i agree with you. and thats why i first proposed w thread and not a forum... because on the forum we will lose a lof of advices & help from sedan and AMG forums...
cl203 picture thread
cl203 lights
cl203 bodykits...
3 sticky threads would do it.... and the start is easy if someone of the coupe guys can merge the useful posts...

Yep, +1. I have been on many various car forums, and the more they start to separate forums, the more the expertise goes away.

I don't get it, if we want to get our own sub forum we have to be given the chance to do so.

How come sedan owners have to decide for us, and they are writing down stupid remarks for us all the time, calling us names because we own a coupe. Its none of their business on witch part of the forum we would stay.

there should be a minimum quota set by administrators which we would meet to make this possible.

CL203 stands for "Cute Looking 203". That's what the sales guys were using when they were selling it to the teenage high school girls. The high school girls finally found out that the body style was called a "Coupe" so now they market the CLC203 as "Cutest Looking Coupe 203". True story I read it on Wikipedia.

So let's give these Cuties their own sub forum

Dude...totally uncalled for!
I would take a coupe over a sedan anyday! Its not like the people on here who own coupes own them coz we cant own sedans.

I don't care either way, I would never take a coupe. The interior is a deal breaker to say the least.

Edit:
Sedan guys have nothing to do with it..don't blame this on the sedan guys. All these years people were fine until you came and demanded "We have to get" your own section. I'm for your proposal but try to reword it so it doesn't seem you are putting anyone down.
Im with this guy, it would to me seem more effective to divide by engine, since they are totally diff, C coupes still use the same electronics and engines as there sedan counterparts, only diff is there *** and lack of 2 doors.

Also this late in the game do you really think vendors would want to invest the time and money into a old platform whos aftermarket never really started or grew in the 1st place. C classes and C coupes are a very small share of C classes, and I don't think having your own forum would help but make you guys further separate in a already small auto modding community.

Funny how sedan owners will use almost any thread to get a pot shot in against the coupe.

They must have very small penises indeed.

for anyone who was here from the start of the 203 will know that there was a mbklasse.com forum. I'm sure tommy knows and knows how that went. lol

I wish MB weren't so paranoid about calling it a hatch. Much more practical design than a coupe; I wouldn't have gotten it if it were a true coupe.

Yes, it was awful - helpful information, no cat fights like here, many owners who worked on their own cars, the same questions weren't posted over and over and over again, etc. I hated it.

Oh it has nothing to do with your owning a coupe, hkirov. It has to do with the fact you're a troll with a remarkable ability. That remarkable ability being that you have the know-how to piece together a CLC from a 2002 CL203 while at the same time being completely and utterly clueless about Mercedes-Benz as a whole - but particularly about engines and production facts.

I would actually be very happy with a V6 CLC. My car spends most of it's life one up & I like the CLC & think it's fun.

Got to admit it's pretty!
