Thumbs down I see, CL203 is not welcomed here...

So there is something for the CL203 and it gets CLOSED, well i cant understand why, but i know what i will do now on.

If you wonder why Guys which know so much of their cars simply don't post, or they do couple of posts and after you dont see them no more well that's why i guess i will do the same i will just leave.

And next time when you post Threats from other forums with people doing something different dont wonder why they are not here.

I suppose this one will get closed but i dont give a F and S for it, i just wanted to help others with what i knew and get some good advices, i see none of those is happening so i have no place here no more.

Amdeutsch for showing me the EXIT door i was looking for it for the last few days.

1) self proclaiming yourself as a " Guys which know so much of their cars" is one of those things that you dont need to say. whether true or not, it will show one way or another through your posts
2) getting booty hurt over a thread being closed....
3) idk what the other stuff meant
4) come on now really? we are all adults just move on

Lol, ownage.

But it's really really sad to see someone who knows so much about the "CL203's" leave... I think you should stick it out, and you'll see reform.
Rome was not built in a day.. I've read your topics, and so far you've been contributing and hauling your own weight completely..
Sad to see someone with so much knowledge on german engineering go

If you legitimately read what hkirov has posted, you would think otherwise.

Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Mods should close this thread, too.

I bought his bumper for a reasonable price actually. New from MBenzNL would have been well over a grand. Pics coming soon

By that measure the M271 is also a racing engine from Formula 3

The "Cosworth" M111 engine in all it's iterations was based on the 2.3-liter 8-valve 136 hp (101 kW) unit already fitted to the 190 - and E-Class series. It's entire evolution was from this base engine albeit including bore & stroke changes finally for higher RPM.

I can list all versions of the engine if you want going right back to base block.

For the record I think sub dividing these forums more so would be a bad idea. It just means less traffic, and having topics that could help everyone hidden away in model specific forums.

Furthermore it would be nice to combine the AMG forums with the normal model forums to encourage exchange of ideas. But that would prob mean too much traffic for any one sub forum to handle.

Hkirov,

1st let me give you props for the work you have done to convert your coupe to a CLC. You definitely have skills and knowledge there.

BUT, you have blatantly posted incorrect information on the forum MANY times. You have been called out on that MANY times, and have NEVER admitted you were wrong and corrected yourself.

Frankly, you are incoherent most of the time and very arrogant. I think you have let the great work that you have completed on your car go to your head.

But, I think the worst offense you have committed here, is disrespecting of some of our most knowledgeable and respected members like Glyn.

Then you start the thread about the separate coupe forum, which created hostility in this forum and another stupid flame war of coupe vs. sedan. Then you have a temper tantrum when you don't get your way and the thread gets closed. Come on man, grow up. If you are leaving, so be it, but if you decide to stay i recommend you change your attitude and learn to play nice here.

Final word on this. Coupe guys you are most welcome on this forum & I know I speak for many, many of our contributors - We will help you in any way we can & research things for you if we don't know the answers. The guys with access to Star DAS like John & Karo help everyone. Both have recently been helping Ed with his high miler Coupe. Those with WIS, EPC, Service discs & hard experience always help everyone they can. We don't scan threads & say to ourselves - ah! that's a coupe thread - "stuff it" we won't help! In fact we frequently help members from other forums on MBWorld.

We will help all proud Coupe owners!

Who knows - I might just buy a 350 CLC. I kinda like them

Regards from someone who owns one of the most criticised models on the forum. I know the C240 values & I love it. Rated best gasoline model in the Series by European scribes - well I understand why. I don't want a separate C240 forum - I would miss Matt

Speaking of sharing recent findings. I was on the freeway and my instrument cluster read 18 miles and 1.2 gallons. I was maybe 5 miles away from my area.

All of a sudden my pedal stops working and my car shuts off. I coast the car on the side of the road. I turned the key and it sounded like it kept trying to crank over and over again but wouldn't start. Maybe there for 2 minutes a Metro tow truck comes and asks if I ran out of gas. I said I have enough gas but let's add some. He added 1 gallon and the car started. Gave him 20 bucks and was on my way.

What i'm trying to say is don't rely too much on the reading. I once had a Honda and when the light came on with that thing you could have driven forever (well come to think of it I did have the AC on)

Yes, the OP has a nice car, but man, trying to decipher his posts along with his arrogance made him grow stale.
