What mods4cars module are you talking about?

As I've said before, get the mods4cars module; you'll never have to worry about your receiver not picking up your signal again (except for those with metallic tint on their screens, I mean windows - must not let them win).

I live in the southern USA and it is ridiculous. You speak PROPER English. I admire that and have always took pride in my lack of a southern accent and avoidance of dialects.

lol that seems like kinda waste of 250? considerign ours does that anyway. I mean maybe not from any distance but still. maybe if mine ever goes out it'll be cheaper than getting a new one installed by MB dealer

Yep, that was my logic. Rather not bend over for dealer and get something that works better at the same time.

Every summer, I get reminded of how much I like it. So much better to have the hot air vented before I get to the car each night after work. To me, that's worth the money, especially since the fix from the dealer would have been much more cabbage.

Awesome, turns out now the key won't turn in the ignition either.
I went ahead and ordered a new key, no other solution :/.

The unlock, trunk, and panic buttons still work. but the lock button doesn't, and the ignition doesn't recognize the key. It doesn't even make the little noise when I put the key in the ignition.

I sincerely hope for your sake it's the key & not the EIS or you are in for some real expense. The EIS inductively powers the key whan you put it into the slot.

That is awesome to hear. Sometimes these keys can be a real pain to diagnose issues with.
