Roof Spoiler mounting ????
Hi Guys,
Anyone out there with rear roof spoiler, please help me......
I bought a set of painted roof spoiler & trunk spoiler from ebay, but need to know the following for the rear roof spoiler....
Does it stick on to the rear windshield or the actual roof itself, or is it part roof part glass (rear windshield).......What I mean is the actual double side stick tape where does it adhere to on the car.......
Some real close up pic's of the contact points would be helpfull.
Thankx

Most roof spoilers for these cars attach at the top of the rear window just below the roof line of the car on the glass portion. Most use double-sided tape, but make sure it is a quality brand or seek other methods of securing the spoiler as some tape lose their adhesion when exposed to too much heat. Have heard a number of stories of roof spoilers flying off at high speeds or if the tape surface is compromised, so take care to make sure it is secure.

I just got my CF roof spoiler in. Ordered some 3M automotive tape. It's just not like any old double sided tape. It has special adhesive that holds like crazy glue.
When I was installing my trunk spoiler, it stuck on there and it took 3 people to bend the trunk spoiler back to remove it and remount it more perfectly..no joke. Like I said just make sure it's 3M Automotive Tape.
