i get it eventually for both...sometimes just one...and they dont always turn off and sometimes they will turn right back on...its hard to tell sometimes but i try and watch in the rear bumper of cars im following...like today it is raining so i had them on and after like 2 minutes the left one said it was off and i think it switched off for a split second and then back on which is why the error code came up.

it's possible that you've got a bad set of lights.
It would be nice if you could swap with other set of working lights.

and i just bought some of those error elimnators from ddm to see if those will fix this. Although I dont see why they should. I have xenon set to present and other people with this issue haven't had these issues with there vvme. If it still persists I will send back to vvme.

maverik, if the headlights you got are bad to start with, no matter what you do, they will not work properly. New parts can go bad... even new parts from MB also go bad or don't fit properly... it's rare but it happens.

If I were you, I would contact the seller and ask them for replacement after explaining what the problem is. They may just ship a replacement set.

it is not a smart way to ship back the defective one and ask them for a replacement cos you need to afford the shipping ( it is not cheap for the shipping from china , man)

dude, i suggest you switch the bulbs to check whether it is the problems of ballast or the bulbs....

Check your wiring first before cursing seller. Have to triple check, because i see so so many people just going with a stock wiring harness or using skinny wires or using crappy bulbs or not soldering connections and then complaining about bad HID. There are steps to take before you know exactly whats wrong with them.

whether you reverse the wires, whether you fix the ballast by relay to make sure the ballast work well when starting up.....

only my personal ideas....

Are they flickering constantly with a constant frequency or just turning off and on randomly?

Actually, VVME is own by VISIONARI LLC and they are located in Monterey Park CA. So, if you are in southern california, why not just drop it off and get an exchange at their door.

Here's their address:

2570 corporate place E103
Monterey Park, CA
phone: 213-908-1217

So now, no worries about shipping if they are in the neck of your woods.

Also, I had a problem with my set as you can see where I had documented here on this forum.

Well, I got my new set and gave up fighting as it looks pretty much the same as the first one (USED).

It works, so I guess I give up complaining for a new set.

ya well im not soldering anything cuz nothing needs to be soldered...all my connections are good and completely taped up with electrical tape and the polorization is fine otherwise it wouldn't work at all...thanks for the input but i know what im doing. Idk what the problem is first of all and havent said squat aboutit necessarily being their fault or my cars fault, hence why i said i bought some error cancellors from ddm just to see if that fixes the problem. its not the bulbs either or again they wouldnt come on or would sho some sort of age or failing...

also they dont cont ficker but after about 3-5 min of being on they trigger a bulb out code and then they may turn off. Then they may turn right back on or i have to shut them off and back on real quick at which point they come right back on. Its both of them and never the at the same time or in the same order. Again they DO NOT FLICKER.

If they are both doing it, then its doubtful that it's the ballast and its definitely not the bulbs. If you want to be sure it's not the ballast, take it out and hardwire it to a car battery or a jumper box and leave it on and see what it does. If it works fine then its not the ballast.

Length?? I had no problems with mine since day one. Installed as it should be.

Do you have a non bi-xenon headlight? This is for a non bi-xenon, if you had bi-xenon, then you need something else.

It should fit.

They fit!! I just had to set them correctly in the slots. I also purchased and installed my 8000k HID fog lights. Very easy, and all my lights match!!
