Glad you are finally getting what you wanted. Yes, it is the same part number we have been talking about since Post #11. However, as long as it turns out well in the end, that is what matters.

"annoyance" and "self-righteousness", amoung others...
First part i've ever dealt with that was discontinued under one # but continued/resumed (whatever) under another; albeit this is the first non-Chevy i've ever owned

Thanks! The dealer might have it by monday next week. If it IS the same by comparison and I'm not saying it isn't, I will have to ask this yo-yo why he couldn't figure it out for himself. Thanks again for help! I am so looking forward to this ordeal being over. They've had my car sitting in the shop for 2 weeks now.

The spoiler came in! I went to look at it. It dry fit like a glove to the trunk lid and was a lot better quality than the johnny jap crap they wanted to throw on in place of the one they said they could no longer get. You could really see and feel the difference in quality between the factory part and the junk piece. I'm not afraid to say and admit that FrankW and the rest of the guys here were 100 percent correct. The dealership has a couple of guys working there that don't know enough to figure out they were looking and trying to get the wrong one from the start. Thanks to everyone for helping out. if it wasn't for all of you here lending a hand, I wouldn't be getting this thing on.
Oh and BTW, they didn't even repair my trunk lid correctly in preparation for the spoiler. Since the car was parked outside in daylight, it was easy to see that one of the holes from the previously installed spoiler was patched poorly on one side of the trunk lid and the other side has an 4"x10'' area where the darker primer is showing through the paint. Now they will have to sand, repair, and repaint once again. Maybe I'll have the car by friday.
