dissatisfied with my H&R springs!
i lowered my car with H&R springs and put 19's on and i love the way the back sits cuz the wheels are almost tucking and the front i can almost fit 3 fingers still so it looks funny cuz the back is dropped and the front is off road style so i was thinking about cutting a coil in the front would that make it sit even you think?

you can cut coil... but its going take probably 2 or even 3 coils to cut to make it sit even and that won't be to great on you're ride or suspension...

You should be able to lower it further by replacing your spring pads to a thinner one. There are some papers that came with your H&R springs, the above method should've been mentioned.(Does anyone knows what are the different thickness that are available? And how thick is the stock spring pads used on W203?)

well the car is even right now, it's just looks like the front is lower because the fenders were designed a certain way. you can always change pads in the rear so the gap is more proportional. or you can just cut the springs, just go to TWS, they do a lot of spring cutting there. if not just upgrade to coilovers which are adjustable.

I would not recommand cutting the springs, did you just installed these? It takes a while before the springs will settle, maybe that is the problem.
Or like b4chow said, just get coilovers, that would be definitly fix your problem.

H&R Drop List...
You should have gone with the Coilover kit if you wanted adjustability. I have the H&R cup kit on mine and it sits fine. I think the H&R shocks might help it sit properly. There is larger drop in the front on the cup kit though...
Got this off http://bergwerks.com/spring.jsp
H&R:
Stage 2: Springs: >> 1.4 front _1.3 rear
Stage 3.5: Cup Kit: >> 2 front _1.7 rear
Stage 4: Coilover: >> 1.2 - 2.2 front _1.0 - 2.0 rear

Out Of Control!!
The coilovers, which we carry, will definitely lower the car more, but there are 2 factors that you should first consider with the springs.
1. When did you install them? If you haven't put 500 miles on them yet, then they have not fully settled, and will lower more.
2. Your front fenders are bigger than the rear (front tires need to be able to turn), so of course you will have a bigger gap in the front. H&R does not design their springs to make the car have even fender gaps, they design them to make the car ride flat. Cutting a coil may get the look you are looking for, but it will completely eliminate any other function that the spring was designed for.
