W203 owners in the Dallas area
Just wanted to check myself into the asylum, and say hi to all the other W203 owners. I was wondering how many are in the Dallas/Ft Worth area?
BTW, also was wondering if their is an easy way to find out what the Check Engine light code is that came on this morning.

I didn't think of visiting Autozone, I will do that on my way home. I have a a good mechanic that I've used on my BMWs for years (Mark Bander at Bander Motorworks in Dallas), so I was going to swing by his place tomorrow, but Autozone is closer ;-)

Went to Autozone, and they were great. They pulled a code of P0172, their computer didn't have an diagnosis for Mercedes pulling this code, but all other brands had it as bank 1 running rich, oxygen sensor, or MAF sensor. Three days in, I hope this car doesn't break me.

OK, so after I went to AutoZone, I headed to the gym, and after my workout I noticed a white E350 with a black roof (I typically am not a fan of that look, but this one was sick). Anyway, started my MB up, and no more check engine light... so, thanks to the E350 guy in Forney, TX for the good vibes that set my MB right.

Yeah, I know it will come back, but I plan on replacing all the O2 sensors next month anyway, I also read the thread about cleaning my MAF, and will do that this week as well.

My ex-wife on the other hand LOVED "going to the boats". I'll update my CP shortly, but my car is just stock (today) I'll be getting a Pioneer AVIC Z210-BT installed either tonight or tomorrow

Small shop, and they don't take cards (cash or check), but Mark Bander is the real deal. He's a great guy, and does good work. He's been working on my BMWs for more than a decade, and has treated me great.

I'd be down for that, it'd be fun to meet people from the area. If their are any shops in the area that are active on this board (especially aftermarket shops) it would be a good place to meet.

Unfortunately Sunday mornings would be out for me, I'm a church going guy. Would be fun to see all the hot cars though! Phister, thanks for that note. I'm considering doing something different with my paint (thinking about going two-tone...) so I'll make sure to keep him in mind. I think it would be fun to do a run from an event in Dallas, to one in Ft. Worth. Just have to figure out what those events would be... Probably gun shows! ;-)

you should check out my friends crew www.swangnbang.com some live in Garland and the others in fort worth so they're always doing shows and meetups, they use to be part of Team Ikon here in DFW but decided to branch off.

Looks like some guys did a meet a few years ago. Over four years ago to be exact. Not sure if they're still rolling in their benzs or if they still post on here, but it looks like their meet turned out pretty good. Pictures are on page 6.

I'm down for a meet anytime. I work the weekends during the day but with a two week notice I should be able to get off work no problem.
Let's start a list. Autumn is the best time to ride too. Not too hot, not too cold.
