Front brake rotors and brake pads
Ok so i guess its time for me to get the front brake rotors and brake pads done. I don't know if i'm wrong but i know that all the 2006 c230 come with the sport package, so i don't have any idea why there is lot of rotors online for the 2006 but doens't fit for sport package. Anyways i found those rotors and brake pads that will fit on the sport package so all i need is your opinion on those parts, if i should go with it or no

Between i think i'm going off topic but i have another question since i don't have much experience with cars what does it mean when people say c230 ss?

from vender reply : - note this is from my 07C230 SS with big brakes. I suggest to go OEM and vendor above - much easier.. I went with another vendor (annapolis MB ) and they sent me the wrong rotors and pads, but they corrected, but left me a week waiting for parts.

I was trying to save a buck by replacing my oem pads with the Autozone Duralast, boy was I wrong. Those pads ate and grooved the rotors so bad.. never again.. OEM for me for now on.. Also FWIW any brake job I do to this car will require OEM pads and rotor replacement.

ok so i went to the dealership today or as many of us call it stealership and got quoted for the parts 2 front rotors, front brake pads and brake wear $450. so i'm thinking now just to get the pads from them and get the balo rotors from the net

IIRC OEM rotors are Brembo. I am not familiar with BALO. Jerry email Jeff Williams@mbsouthatlanta.com with your VIN number to reply with the correct part numbers. Funny thing is when my rotor were shipped the UPS driver almost had a hernia. The rotors were shipped loosed with bubble wrap. How they made it to my place without any damage is a mystery. If you look at the total it was less than your stealership.
You can also try ECStuning.com which is an AUDI and BMW mailorder, but now carry MB parts.

I think the OEM rotors were Zimmerman, but I can't be sure. I don't think they're OEM Brembo rotors but the calipers are.
BALO rotors are very cost effective and just as good. I've had them on my car for almost 40k miles now. I will only use OEM pads, though, so I can't testify for anything else. My car gets washed too often for dusting to be an issue and you can't beat the feel, bite, and durability of the OEM pads.

Thanks for clarification. Not in love, just oem is install and forget, no issues of squeals or aggressive rotor wear and exact fit.. that's all. I do hate the dusting, but I can live with that since the car is often washed.
