too damn hot in TX to be without AC but I do usually drive around with my windows down. Only really use AC is if gf is with me or if I'm going to someplace important and dont want sweat stains lol

Out Of Control!!
I did that when I used to live in New Orleans; went to work in a suit in my crx, but still hated to use the A/C.
Thanks for the pic - really looks great with the painted bolts.

I've been forced to drive a car without working A/C from time to time, but it's never been a personal choice! Me thinks Tommy is too concerned about ga mileage.

did you ever think of painting through the bolts to keep the lines more smooth?
i did a quick photoshop (on the right) for a comparison.
i'm not sure how much of a pain it is to paint half of the bolt.. but i think it looks more clean & flows with the rest of the lines on the hood/car:

I hate to disagree with you Midnight, but I think the rivets give it a certain character. By that I mean it looks as though someone is going to get out of the car and kick the ever-loving stuffing out of your flabby a$$ if you even look at the car incorrectly!
All that is to say, I like it!

i almost liked it better when the bolts were silver (looked meaner), but now that its all black it looks like paint drips
overall its an awesome mod and i was just dropping in my 2 cents

lol I can always remove the paint... I was just seeing how it would look. All I have to do is take some paint thinner to them. Also the the half circles are the actually ducts themselves not the rivets, they were design liked that so you can have a spot to pop rivet the ducts on.

Been crazy busy so not much forum time lately. But, WOW you have been busy on the car Phi. Looks great. Any close-up shots of the grille? How shiny is that black chrome?

Bad news on those... I took apart our gauge cluster and dash and I tested them while they were apart and ours has built in led bulbs on the board so the bulbs wont work
I think if you got some transparent colored film you could probably apply them over them to get the color you want. But I was bumped since I ordered the bulbs. Guess I can sell them on a honda forum or something
I did the black chrome kind of dark since I did 3 coats of the paint on them but you can still see your reflection off it. You can do it a lot lighter with a coat or two and it'll look really shiny.

lol I looked into that but its a PITA to remove the things... and with the dash controls you have to be careful with the dials and stuff when removing them.

yeah... You get to painting your calipers yet? I was starring at my hood and I decided to remove the black chrome off the rivets lol just didnt look as aggressive.... Intake is almost most done... Just have a couple of more pieces to cut so it fits snug. Hopefully this weekend... thought I could get it done yesterday but ran into some mock up complications...

good old dremel tool lol it gave me the best control IMO I used about 4 of the metal cutting blades but it let met control around the curves of the outlay the best. Just wish my plug in dremel didnt die couple of months back, had to use my cordless on and it took about 3 charges.

Ok decided my next thing to add to my list is finally doing the wheel stud conversion. Ill be ordering the H&R studs next week hopefully. Thinking of getting 60mm all around or 60 infront and 50 in rear. We'll see.
