Thanks man...
update on intake.... i put it on and when I started the car the rpms started to rev up and down from 800-1500. Itd stop after awhile if I revved the car but I think its making the MAF read like its running really rich. I didnt take it out on the road for fear of it going into limp mode. I might try running a smaller intake setup. I'm running 4" piping right now T'd into a 3" that goes into the tb. I might try running 3" piping, it'll give me more room under the hood too, the 4" piping was right on the edge of pushing on the hood and not allowing it to close. I think the 3" piping will get the rev problem away so I can finally get this intake on.
Since the intake has to wait till I get more piping I painted half of my wheels champagne gold. I test painted one wheel with the black chrome lip and it just didnt match well with the gold so I stuck with the polished lip but repainted the face champagne gold and the rivets the same color. Going to do the other 2 tomorrow morning so I can run out and get my piping for the intake.

Nowhere ...Fast
please educate me but would this allow for easier water" flood" of the intake? i know stock is sloped away from the MAF...but this would be sloped into the MAF direction...??

Right now its not a big concern with the water issue. But I fiberglassed a channel that'll direct the water away to the sides and away from the filters. Its not too much a problem if some water gets on the filters. I've driven in some high water in my previous car which had a cold air intake and submerged the filter and didn't hydrolock the engine.

no ISF? lol That'd be the only IS I'd get right now. My gf has a IS250, we use it for long drives since it gets better mpg than the w203. I'll wash the car today and take some pics. See if I can find another spot thats nice besides the church I went to. Maybe I'll take my DSLR with me when I take my bike out for a ride later today. Riding in 105 degrees is brutal so I usually ride in the morning or evening. I might take some pics on garage roof at my work.
Ordered my new piping just waiting for it to come in next week. Round 2 will begin soon.

Definitely loving the champagne color. Gives the car an entirely different and awesome look.
I may be the odd ball but I am not really a fan of any kind of black wheel, regardless of what color the car is, but that's just me.
The more pictures I see like this, the more depressed I get lol. Still another week until mines out of the shop, until then all I can do is drool over everyone elses cars

The champagne looks amazing! I like them even better than the black, it makes a statement. I get back from Nevada tonight, and am a bachelor for the next week, let's get together I need to drool over your mods ;-)
