Yeah I like it simple... I like clean lines and letting it all flow together thats why I didnt go the cf diffuser route. You can always do it and if you dont like buy the diffuser lol.

Looks sharp! I think it would look even better if you blacked out the middle part of your front grill (I'm loving that look!)

I was thinking modding an OEM grill and removing the vertical bar but leaving it chrome or do a black chrome. Duplicolor has a black chrome kit that you can make as dark as you want on chrome pieces. Might pick it up after I get my haircut.

Phi if you're thinkin about doing it here's a pic of what mine looks like.
I think black chrome would look sick... I will have to say your car looks super clean with it just silver though. But definitely take off the vertical bar. It would look great!

I keep brain storming what to do next for my car and I've decided to invest in another OEM grill remove the vertical bar and paint it black chrome and do the chrome impact strips accents the same, and I just thought about this but Im going to do the headlight housing the same too when I do my retrofit. Itll add a slightly different touch to the over all look of the car I think.
Side note, Cale, awesome as always, gave me the greatest idea! I'm going to use the 100 MB gift certificate to get the 272.969 single runner manifold, so all I'll have to look for now is the 550 tb. Things are looking on the up and up for the summer.I'll probably have to get a retune from Jerry after it.

Sounds really tasty Phi, using the MB gift certs toward the manifold is definitely FTW! What is the total cost of that manifold?

Its a naca duct for my custom hood ducts I'm going to do for my intake I'm building
I'm building the filter box right now so hopefully in a few weeks or by the summer at the lastest
Yeah I did a little measuring, deciding on where at on the hood I want it. I might do it kind of mid to higher part of the hood.

ok to update.... just got my AEM dryflow filters in... got pretty big ones, 9"x4". Going to have to use fiberglass and fab up the boxes, aluminum wasnt cutting it for me. Going to use the boxex they came in as a lay out on how I want to do the box. So I'm going to do that tomorrow morning and while I wait for it to cure I'm going to black chrome my grill finally and hopefully have my sub system fitted to the way I like so I can finally cover it and install it. Hopefully I'll knock 2 out of the 3.
