Yeah the IS250 is a chick car.. I'd know cause a girl slightly older than me on my block has one .. Anyways the Acura TL is pretty fast, but the car is really heavy on the front end since it's fwd and that motor is pretty big and heavy.. I'm sure a 6MT TL with the LSD can be pretty fun.

The day that Trini supports his own w203 over ANY other foreign sedan/coupe is the day I will know someone else has taken over his account.

Again, good job on the '07 c230 with gobs of warranty left, OP. Don't ever listen too closely to what Trini says or else he will have you thinking you should have bought an S2000 or an EVO....!

My first choice was the acura tl type s, but they wanted too much for it and werent willing to get rid of it cheaper. so i fell back on the c230. this is just my experience, but the TL was a bumpier ride, and the steering wasn't nearly as tight. It was tight as in responsiveness to touch, but not tight for rather sharp turning. you could not turn on a dime like you can with the c230. i still wanted the TL though, but i wasn't willing to spend that much. i test drove many cars before making my decision.

IS250 is so smooth on the road, you wont feel the small bumps and you'll be cradled like a baby.
W203s on the other hand, you will feel everything on the road and feels sportier with its stiff suspension.

If you're single = W203
Family man with a sleeping baby = IS250

Here's the leather/paint warranty info. was 1395, and seeing as how i am with leather and my paint... i was in need of it and felt comfortable with the price. my leather in my bmw looked like crap after a year and wore extremely fast. some of the seems came loose and when i tried to get them repaired, the prices to do it were not reasonable.

There's quite a bit of difference between a C350 Sport 6MT and a C280 4Matic. The sportiest W203 vs the least.. I can see why the owner of a C280 4Matic would have a wandering eye on cars more sporty.

Someone has to give Trin a hard time for talking more about modding any other car but his own on a MB enthusiast forum

It can easily be turned into the sportiest 203 (not including the AMG models)

ECU Tune, Headers, and C300 tranny and you have yourself the same power as a C350. Add suspension parts (will not go into details) and you have yourself an AWD sick car. You're looking around 2k for headers, tune and suspension (springs). Don't know how much for a 6MT. 5Speed should be fine

Unfortunately Trin, that's not too far off from what this market calls for with a private sale. Im going to be lucky to get 15 privately for my 06 c230 sport with 49k mi.

16k seems normal. What are you looking to get? Sorry for asking but how old are you?

Not bad, 17 years old and driving a nice Benzo

I don't know how your finances are but I think you can get into an Evo if you sell your Benz. I've seen immaculate ones for around 18 - 20

Well yeah by next year march or later i'll have enough money to trade my car in and pay the difference and get into something like an evo. The car cost of buying an EVO isn't the problem it's just purely the insurance. I can see that i'll easily be paying 8k+ a year. NYC is expensive if I register my car upstate i'll save a ton.

That's horrible, put your dad as the primary driver of the car and insurance should be a little cheaper, if estimated annual miles to be driven is little too might get a little discount. Also if you get good grades that should be a discount too

Have that.. I really do want a EVO and I guess if I really want it i'll have to stick the insurance for the time..

Okay so I am looking at like $370 a month with me as a driver of a EVO. That is reasonable.

Full coverage? That's a pretty good deal. I pay close to 280 full coverage but I have 2 points on my record.
