Difference between front CLK63 brake pad part numbers?

I'm going to need to replace the front pads in my CLK63 setup before it goes on my car, and I've found two part numbers for front pads and I don't know what the difference is. I've found both listed on here (in different places) and both came up in EPC with no difference in the notes either. Both have the same price, so what is the difference?

005 420 39 20
004 420 50 20

Both combine to the same part number on RMEuropean. Maybe its just an updated part number?

If you look at the details for part # 004 420 50 20 in the EPC you will see that it says "Replaced by: 005 420 39 20". You should use part # 005 420 39 20.

You're right, I don't know why I didn't see that in there before. I checked it just now and saw that immediately.

Thanks. I haven't decided where I'm going to buy them from yet. 3 of my rotors got damaged in shipping and supposedly a check is on the way for the insurance. I was planning on buying those locally so I could get them faster, but I haven't found out my cost yet on that. Since the fronts are worn out and the rear will be getting new rotors, I'm going to go ahead and replace the rear pads, too.

Sorry to hear that. Parts.com usually has low prices and they are all OEM parts. I recently bought my BS rear brake setup through there.

If I run out of time to get everything installed before Christmas, I'll probably be ordered from getmercedesparts.com or parts.com. I've already got my stock setup sold, but the guy lives in Canada and will be in the US for a short time so I may have to spend a little more money to get the new rotors faster.
