Hi pitch noise from the front wheel

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what's that hi pitch noise? I hear it more clearly if an object is near the driver side, the noise goes faster or slower if I increase or decrease speed. I was crusing at about 20 mph in the recording, sorry for the loud road noise....

a quarter mile at a time
Can you hear it when the car is idling and you are standing in front of the car? What year is your car?

2005 C230, only hear that noise when the car is moving. I tried to look for that noise when the car is idle but nothing. Also, it comes and goes as well.

Thanks.

Does it stop when you brake? If so, it means your brakes are low and the indicators are scraping to let you know this.

I still hear it when I brake. BTW, all brake pads were replaced last year.

I don't think that MB has squealers on the pads as they have the electronic sensor that is inserted into the pad

Just buy some high temp grease. take ur wheels off pop off the dust cap that are covering ur bearings. I believe an Allen wrench is needed to loosen the bolt. I greased mine up last year. i took mine off though and cleaned them

do you have the OEM wheels on the car or aftermarket? But buy some grease and grease the bearings and you can also buy some spray lube and lube up your bushings on the suspension.

Oh my I hear the same noise on my car!
Its a rotational noise coming from the passenger front wheel. I know something is scraping but nobody can find it. (I took my car to the dealership twice for this problem and they cant find it)

I dont know if we have EXACTLY the same problem but this is what happens to mine:
Sound comes on when I hit 20mph but will disappear at around 40mph. I know its not a fan or something that will go off in a certain time or temperature because the timing is inconsistent. Sometimes I wont hear it when I slow back down to 20-30 and sometimes I will.

What I haven't checked yet is my brake sensor. Do they hang out of the brake pads that they may be causing the scraping with the wheels? What else do you think will produce a rotational noise? It doesnt sound like it comes from an internal part, more like the area of the wheel itself.
I know brake sensors are installed in the front passenger wheel but im just not sure if there are any wires poking out of it.

OEM wheels. If it's the bearings, do I have to take the rotor/caliper off to lube them?

By looking at the brake sensor in this photo http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j2...oldsensor1.jpg, it actually hangs from the outside so I'm not sure if it's the sensor causing that noise.

Can you see anything in the brake component which can caused that noise?

I have uploaded a new video with less road noise, I agreed it's a rotational noise.
