Finnally order one

As per my previous post somewhere here tax season is around and I was going to either order OEM projectors or these

I decided to buy these and hopefully I will have them installed within 2 weeks... either DYI or professional. My question is has anyone had them professionally installed and how much did it cost?

+1 way overpriced, couldve got them for 1/2 the price, depos cost around 200-250 and you could've bought an hid kit from one of our sponsors for like $35. Install is really easy, its just 4 bolts, one on top, one by the bumper, one on the side and one underneath. You just have to remove the bumper to do it.

that kit like looks like the eagle eye brand, the cutoff shown in the ebay ad isnt what it'll look like. They did it up close so they want see how it'll look really from afar. Someone else ordered the same exact kit and it doesnt compare to OEM cut off, it'll have the usual depo or eagle eye cut off. I ordered some FX-R projectors but haven't gotten a chance to retrofit them on my headlights.

Not sold on the pricing.. hopefully the cut-off is really good. Otherwise a cheaper set of DEPOs + FX-R projectors may have been a better alternative. Good luck!

You may have overpayed a little, but in the end, you'll have everything you need for the install in one box, and a cool way to mount the ballasts! You'll still be happier with those over Halogen, blek!

This may be better than standard depo's. I only say that because the projectors are fitted for d2s, so there is a possibility that they might be better. Show us some cutoff pictures once they get installed.

This set has both Low beam AND high beam HID, D2S, and the ballast is mounted under the headlight housing. So, for what you're getting, I think the price is not that bad.

The only negative about these lights is the cut-off will not be as clean as shown in the picture and there will be 2 hot spots per side. I have this set on my car. I paid $360 for low beam HID only, D2S, ballast mounted on the light.

bulbs will make no difference in the cutoff its about the cutoff shield that produces the cutoff line. here's what his probably look likes.




But if its bi-x it'll be like this but with the above shield most likely.

yes i know the bulb won't change the cutoff. I was implying that since the projectors were made for a true HID bulb that the quality of the projector might be better than the halogen projectors. Hopefully it doesn't come with that ugly flat cutoff shield. Those are terrible for width.

Max price on depos are 300. Usually around 280 is a fair price.

They do mention the projector is D2S sorry don't know what that is. Is that an upgraded projector? Maybe all these and the hid kit might be worth it?
