I thought the BF Goodrich g-Force Sport would be a good choice. Very good handling and long-term reliability. I was told to expect 30k miles out of them. They're also very reasonably priced at around $125 installed at Costco.

I'm riding on Falken Ziex 512 and pushed them all the way up to 120mph yesterday! I can't tell the difference between them and the Michelin Pilot Sport excpt in the price!!!!

I haven't put them on yet, so I can't say my experience with them have been positive first hand, however, those who use similar tires haven't complained about them and have praised their longevity as well as their excellent handling characteristics.
Again, I do wish to mention that the Michelin Pilot Primacy tires which I currently employ provide very poor performance in the wet.

But now, even with the audio system off, I think the noise is alright. Did I adapt or was the noise just so deafening that I'm going deaf?
And yes, I don't have any complaints about the car's noise when I'm listening to my Batti Batti coming from 12 speakers. However, then there's another noise, rattling subwoofer noise.

Regarding the supercharger, at what RPM would you say the supercharger really kicks in? I don't really hear the "whine" anymore, sometimes I even look for the sound and I don't hear it at higher RPMs. Lastly, when I drive, I rarely hit 3000 RPMs (except for in 5th gear).

popped my tire yesterday
Yesterday when i was drivin to jamaica ave, to buy some dvd's for my car b/c i have a tv now i hit a pothole and it wasnt a biggie then soon after i hit another one and my car sounded horrible..... When i got outta the tunnel at the light i notice this car next to me pointing and i rolled my window down and the lady told me that my front passenger rim is flat..... The car didnt drive like it had a flat at all..... I think the tires on the car are stock they are the Good Year Eagle ones. I have the stock 17" sport rims. I'm pretty sure the rim did not bend tho. Does anyone know how much it is to replace the ripped tire with a new tire???? thanx

wow...next time post a cliffnotes version..... going to buy "dvd's" doesn't have anything to do with your tire
FYI... you may think your rim is not bent...... I have half a dozen wheels that look like they aren't bent........ but once inspected, they are wayyyyy out of round. Check it out.

that is the one warrantyim getting for my (07 due in anyday); is the wheel/tire warranty.its 5 yrs unlimited mileage, no deductable . the smaller sidewall tires and the material of the wheels can have problems from pot holes as you demonstrated. the extra warranty covers the sides of the tire as well as cracking of the wheel. i have a tendencly to drive in a "spirited" fashion so i went for it.

the bad part is that if your front tires have more than 25% difference in the tread, you'll have to replace both tires! Thus, assuming the tires last around 25k miles (this is optimistic), if you used those tires for more than say 7k miles, you have to replace both of them.
I got a nail in my rear passenger tire. 12k miles on the car. I'll probably have to replace both of them, and the rears are expensive.

Mercedes-approved tires?
I am about to replace the tires on my 2002 C320 Wagon and I have
researched a number of options, in addition to simply replacing the
mediocre Contis.
However, since this vehicle is leased from MBUSA, I want to be sure
that the replacement tires are OK. The service rep at the dealer says
that any MB-approved tire is OK but he cannot/will not give me a list.
1)Does anyone know of or have a link to such a list?
2)Has anyone ever had a problem returning a car with standard brand
tires of the appropriate size and performance rating?

My car is not a lease but i'm sure they wont care. All my freinds do modification to their lease cars and they just rip out the parts and what not before they return it to the dealership. All of them return their cars tinted and the dealer never say anything so i dont think tires are a big issue. I would check tirerack.com to see what the best sellers are or view the OE tires. g luck
