Hey guys, i am trying to get an HID kit from the link above.

My question is, do i need to get any error eliminators or HID harness, or any of the additional parts. ( adaptor cables, mounting brackets )

I am getting 33w H7s...

You know with the flickering it's a hit or miss. Some people have this issue and some don't. You can have the dealer enable the xenon feature on your vehicle and this will eliminate the flickering (headlights) but if you're going to do the fogs as well then you might need the error eliminators.

You don't need any of the extras. Just get the kit which is 30 bucks and install them. If you end up getting any flickering then buy the error eliminators. No need for mounting bracket and the other accessories.

I agree with Karo's comments above.

My '07 C280 didn't have any error messages when I installed HID kit. '04 C320 had flickering problem and I had to have the Xenon=present set by MB dealer. That took care of the issue.

Summary - some cars seem to have no issues with HID kits without the need for error eliminators and no flickering. Other cars seem to have flickering and errors needing the error eliminators (or xenon=present setting).

I can vouch for the error eliminators at a 1/4 of the price a dealer would charge to change a setting and hope "thats the issue"..

No Flickering anymore on my HID's And sorry to all those in front me at night!
