sounds like a job from hell to make it work, you will have to do lots of plumping ie intercooler, exhaust etc not to mention wiring and ECU's
I don't think that it is a simple bolt on to the transmission (probably will not even match up) not to mention that the C280 transmission, transfer case and rear end are not designed to take the extra power a C32 will give.
I think this is a nightmare in the making
It would be an "easier" job to adapt it to a non-4matic C320

I think that sounds AWESOME. A rice stomper if I've ever heard of one! Think about an Evo going up against that, it warms the cockles of my heart.

Your tranny will be up for the challenge. The motor mount is a little different so you would need to change that. Then you will need ecu coding and I'm not sure if the 4matic can handle that much power. I know the rear end on the C32 is pretty heavy duty. A C32 with mods is equivalent to 450hp from what I have seen (now I don't know how much reliability is effected). Mike's (Temjin) C32 had that much hp.
You most likely would need to change your fuel pump. Then you will need intercooler and all the accessories as well. I think it's gonna cost way too much. As much as I like to see mods like this, this time I have to say it's better to just get a C32.
Trini, stop acting like you know what your talking about. You say C32 is hella fast and make a idiot comment about a manual helping it. You always knock autos like your some kind of manual pro driver. Do you even know how to drive stick? Ya, that's why the fastest cars are all auto right?? That's why autos get the fastest times on the track right?? That's why the fastest Supras come auto right? That's why an EVO MR comes with the SST tranny right?? You've been watching too any Fast and the Furious movies.
How is a manual going to help the C32 except for less wheel loss. You can launch in an auto, you can hold gears in the auto....what else do you want?

Take a look here. You can build your own kit. OP made a parts list.

that place was pretty immature, though.
mbworld has way too much activity to go down let alone for others to compete with it.

They were using an old version (phpbb 2.0.21) which was released mid 2006

I also agree with the immaturity comment. MBWorld is very solid and like you mentioned has no competition. Maybe Benzworld but I noticed Benzworld is mostly non US and MBWorld is more US.
Although it's ironic that I comment on the immaturity and at the same time make immature jokes on MBWorld

The site was horrible. It has an exploit and the MD5 hash could have easily been compromised. At the time the mods were cool so I didn't mess with it. But if they were dbags then the site would have been down ( i don't know by who but I'm sure it would have been down).
