C230 Coupe Owners - Anyone seen these headlights?
Hello everyone,
I have been looking into finding a clear headlight option for my car. From what I have discovered, finding clear headlamps is pretty tough for this car, and you need to pay out the nose for them. I did come across 1 pair of after market ones, and I wasn't sure if anyone else had used these before or not:

Thats the 2005 lights, assuming it's actually for the coupe.
Thats a pretty good price.
At one point mbusa had a deal for like 380 but thats long ago.
I'd call and if this is legit, I'd go for it,
or wait and see if you can get a set used, likely around
$300-400 used anyway...

We are so screwed as far as aftermarket.
250K + cars built and nada available.
I wrote depo and told them they're missing out..
no response so far.
You can get those and throw an hid kit and you're done.
Stock bix are so expensive partially due to leveling motors you
will never use unless the car came with bix in the 1st place.
I got mine trade, + labor to remove and install in both cars
+$600 out of my pocket. But that included tails and turn signals.
An interesting day with a formerly active member in Fresno who
went to Audi.

Well that is pretty lame. Although it does seem like these headlights are aftermarket. But yeah, only 1 set... haha
I was thinking if I get these I would just put a whiter or bluer colored lamp in it. I don't really feel like messing around with a HID kit. I did a HID kit on the A6 I used to have, just don't feel like doing it again. lol
How hard is it to replace the headlights in these cars? I have not had much time to mess around under the hood of this car yet.

You pull the wheels and partially unfasten the bumper.
Takes a couple hours, not hard just time.

Whatever happened to these headlights?
I'm actually looking for a pair as well since part of my left one got fried and now it says I need to replace the bulb even after I just replaced it with a new one.

Oh I see what you are saying. I am not actually in the market quite yet to buy. I was researching for several months down the road when that might be an option. I'm sure all it would take is a quick call and you could get the info you need. They look promising though!
