Does anyone else find it funny that there are 34 posts, and almost a thousand views concerning two little rods of plastic? Do ya think we're a little **** about these cars??

Nah... it's just that the OEM door pins are REALLY outdated looking! Every time I see them I think of "old people".

Page 5? I hope?

Actually they're worse than that. They look like they came out of a 78 Chevy Caprice.

CLK Door Pins Part #

Could anyone who has bought the CLK Door pins please post a part number. My dealer is telling me they're $6 a piece. I've seen on here they run between $.80 and $1.00.

Not that I have a problem spending $24 dollars but I feel like I'm getting jerked around.

TIA
Bill

From what I've heard, they look the same as the Coupe, But I have a sedan and don't like my elbow getting put up on a golf tee waiting for someone to swing.

In Canada, I bought those $1 each. They are only cheap plastic.

I'll gladly trade you, two of mine for two of yours

Why can't Mercedes (Or any car company) just offer parts directly to people over the internet?

I have seen them all over ebay. Do a search and you should find them pretty easily.

I looked all over EBay (w203, Mercedes, Mercedes 203, Mercedes C Class, Mercedes CLK) and the only thing I could get to show up were chrome/metal ones.

Any possibility you could help point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Bill

ive seen those metal ones as well on ebay. will they fit on a coupe? they would have to be longer than the stock ones, because when the stock door pin goes down, it is way down.

Sorry about that, the guy that normally has them on ebay is not selling any of them at this time. I bought some a while ago. The bag that I got mine in came with this part# on it A 000 581 03 17. Not 100% sure if it is the right part# but I hope this helps.

go to the dealership and ask them to look up for the C-coupe door pin (same thing as the CLK, SLK, etc). They are a dollar each. You could just con your sales or service advisor into giving them to you for free btw. I did pay for mine which was pretty stupid cuz I could've just asked my sales to get'em for me.

Door Pins? What are they?

I've seen some people listed as mods as having CLK Door Pins and seen some discussions regarding these. What exactly do they do and how much do they cost?

Thanks in advance.

They are crappy plastic door pins, just not as ugly as stock C class pins.
Go Brabus flush crome pins.
