c230 05 heated seat install help!

Have a 05 c230k that didnt come with heated seats from the factory. Im going to install a set and want to use the factory switches(allready have the switch row) and wiring if possible. I will be using aftermarket heat pads but if anyone would have any info on the wiring harness that would be great. The local dealer wasnt much good, he just found a harness that says heated seats but he cant be sure its what i need. I guess looking for a harness and if there is anything else I need and if that should plug right in( i know ill have to wire the aftermarket pads to the factory harness)? Did a search and tried to contact the guy who's done it before but he hasnt responded yet.

Thanks in advance.

Order the Mercedes maintenance DVD. It will walk you through the heated seats retrofit. I did the retrofit a few years back. I used factory seat covers with the heated pads integrate, the heated seats wire harness, and the upper control panel with heated seat buttons. I don't know about aftermarket pads.

Don't you have to cut open the seat (some seam) to put in the pads?

Planning on doing this same mod sometime soon. I've read that we should get the H3 kit from here:

Where'd you get your switch row/panel? Can't seem to find one anywhere.

I may go with these carbon ones which have come down in pricing significantly when I was thinking about doing this a few years ago but never got around to it. 11x19 times 2 is a decent size and can be cut to any size without damaging it.
